Texas Gov. Rick Perry is accusing President Barack Obama of engaging in spiritual warfare and is urging Christian voters to “send a message to Washington that our nation is about more than some secular laws and activist courts."
According to the Austin American-Statesman, the Republican made the claim in a conference call with evangelicals Tuesday, in which he warned that the "spiritual warfare," as he put it, "may be growing stronger as President Obama and his cronies in Washington continue their effort to remove any trace of religion from American life."
He added, "It falls on us [as] Christian warriors, Christian soldiers, and it's for us as Americans, to stand our ground.”
Perry, who withdrew from the presidential race earlier this year, also dismissed the idea of separation of church and state....snip...
"The idea that we should be sent to the sidelines [is] driven by those who are not truthful," the governor said. "Satan runs across the world with his doubt and his untruths, and what have you, and one of the untruths out there [that] is driven is that people of faith should not be involved in the public arena.”

I’d rather Perry get serious in a separation of Texas and America debate. Parts of America are too far gone to heal. We need to cut the cord before the whole body is diseased (this may already be too late).

Barack Obama, who doesn't seem to believe in all-out-wars against jihadist followers of Islam, would probably see the need for a union army invasion of Texas in about 2 seconds.

I’ve been thinking about, though I wouldn’t have a chance to implement: cars and vans, whatever, of Christians praying outside each voting place. I’m saying at least two persons per vehicle so there are “two or three gathered.” Gov. Perry is correct, this is war and it isn’t really feet on the ground needed—it’s prayer in the air.
Christians really need to axe the Democrat party for messin’ with them. The GOPe has the same agenda but not as much power.

He would want to invade Texas, but I doubt he would.About the only thing he has the cajones to invade is someone’s privacy...

Obama wants the welfare state and people easily manipulated by addictions, corruption and emotions.
For him it is all benefit for people to beg him if corruption and spiritual degradation is the norm.
It is indeed the crux of Obama’s behind the door campaign through legislation and sponsoring/appointing local, state and federal judges and lawyers to this cause. Truly, they are children of satan and of the flesh.

I suppose that with Biden become “Gaffer Joe” that the Obama’s plan to run “Lawyer” Michelle as his follow-on.

I’ve listened to him pray. It is definitely southern and evangelical. He’s talking Eph 6:12. No doubt in my mind.
Perry is normally a Methodist but has attended SBC churches.
