yes, but isn’t this a 7 day rolling average? If so, I would expect the number to drop...like RAS but a little slower.

What are the media going to be like id Romney wins?
Ugh. They’ll be ten times worse than how they treated Bush. They’ll trash everything scorched earth.

Wow, registered voters?
Just wonder what the makeup was.
If he’s tied with an oversampled registered poll this has to be a -10 with likely voters with accurate sampling.
No way to spin it, it’s a bloodbath incoming.

Polling firms aren’t stupid. They know the closest sample to real data is Likely Voters not Registered Voters. When you see them use Registered voters you can safely think “intentional skewing of data toward Obama”.

A 2% margin of error, and no idea what the party affiliation weighting was.
This is very unusual for a sample of registered voters. My guess is that it’s a bit of an outrider. If it isn’t, then there’s been a massive shift toward Romney over Obama’s foreign policy debacle, and that would explain the screaching reversal by the Admin yesterday regarding the intel reports about Libya/Egypt prior to the embassy attack.
It would also explain why the media attacked Romney so vigorously over the 47%, and in fact, why they released that bit of video when they did.
If registered is this close for Romney, then that is a sea change.

Not necessarily. This poll says that ROmney had a better day yesterday than he had 8 days ago. That is all. Rasmussen’s said Obama had a better day than 4 days ago. That is all.

O’Bunga and his thugs blew over $100M in unanswered smear ads painting Romney as a tax cheat, murderer and unprincipled money-grubber. Now they're off and running wih the 47% nonsense, but even after all of that, Gallup has them tied? Even using RV and skewed +D. Chicago is not pleased.

Hopefully Rasmussen mirrors this tomorrow - Thats the last pollster who I have a shred of faith in. Don't count on it - Rasmussen tends to pick up trends faster because of the 3-day averaging, and it does look like Romney took a hit over the past couple of days. That will probably show up in the Gallup numbers over the weekend.

For those of us who were there, the election of 1980 was a real nail-biter, because the media kept telling us that Reagan couldn't possibly win and the polls seemed to confirm it!
As it turned out, that was all wishful thinking (and an attempt to discourage the conservative vote) by the Leftists.
Reagan creamed Carter.
Barring election fraud on a massive scale, Romney should win handily.
To: null and void
Two months will be enough.
There are few people with less faith in the American voter than I but it is undeniable what they are doing with these polls. Now Rasmussen has released one showing that there are more people identifying themselves as Republicans than Democrats. Is he wrong about that? Quite possibly but I doubt it.
If pollsters use Likely voters and a properly balanced sample I might be disturbed but they lean over backwards to oversample Democrats.
Do you believe a poll taken here would be an accurate predictor of the general electorate?

I tend to agree. We will see with Rasmussen over the next couple of days how this plays out. Maybe the drop in Rasmussen is noise (they do go back and forth).
But if you look the Gallup survey of this issue (
here ), some 63% say it either makes them support Romney even more (20%) or doesn't matter (43%) at all. Only 36% say it will make them 'less likely' to vote for Romney. And we know that 36% is basically the Democrat base.

My point is that the communist, uh, community organizer in chief's target audience is being groomed to think that he can't possibly lose an honest election, and is being set up to burn everything in sight when reality intrudes on their happy little fantasy moochers paradise.

Most of these terrorists pay no attention to polls. Do you really think they watch the news? They don’t interrupt their criminal activities to rush home to watch CNN.
Cities where the home team wins the NBA are in far more danger.
Even Chicago’s dumbass mayor Rahm “The Wonder Horse” won’t allow Obama’s fools to do that.

The trend has been in Romney’s favor in this poll when you click on the link. The question is whether it is too twisted in his favor since much of this was before the 47 percent. Regardless, it’s close.

I couldn’t survive 3 months nully. 47 days my FRiend and I am convinced that it is going to be a landslide. I haven’t done polling since College but everything that I see about the internals has made me extremely confident.
This is a dire situation and people are going to step up and turn out in droves that make 2010 look like a meager turnout. I know 2 people other than myself at work who have taken off to participate in GOTV drives.
I pray that many others will be doing the same and we can overwhelm the propagandists that seek to demoralize us each and every day.
God Speed FRiend.
PS- I remeber you first making an impression on me when you challenged my beliefs on both Obama and McCain’s “birth situations”. I learned a great deal and have always appreciated your posts ever since.
