No demonstration before attack on US Consulate, source says
Fox News ^ | September 17, 2012 | James Rosen and Catherine Herridge

An intelligence source on the ground in Libya told Fox News that there was no demonstration outside the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi prior to last week's attack -- challenging the Obama administration's claims that the assault grew out of a "spontaneous" protest against an anti-Islam film.

The intelligence source said no protests were happening before the attackers struck at about 9:35 p.m. local time last Tuesday. The account backs up claims by a purported Libyan security guard who told McClatchy Newspapers late last week that the area was quiet before the attack.

"There wasn't a single ant outside," the unnamed guard, who was being treated in a hospital, said in the interview.

These details appear to conflict with accounts from the Obama administration that the attack spawned from an out-of-control protest. The Libyan president also said Sunday that the strike was planned in advance

I happen to come across this eerie photo from last year's Arab spring.

I don't know, the scarecrow was likable and didn't want to negotiate with the witch.

Hillary looked unbelievably dumbstruck after the embassy attacks. She just couldn't get it into her small idealogical brain the fact that radical muslim terrorists would attack the U.S. when her SOCIALIST DEMOCRATS PARTY of terrorist supporters were in charge of the U.S. As a matter of fact the whole terrorist supporting MSM can not believe it either. Hence the phony spin falsely claiming the attack was caused by the movie. In November we throw these anti american clowns out on their keesters.

This was a rapid response dis-information campaign out of the White House. All the initial media stories stalled for “direction”, from the ONE, while covering the on site, live film of smoke and ashes.

The direction from the WH was basically; “this is a nothing burger”; move along folks;protesters were just cranky (over a film they never saw).

I would very much like to hear what the survivors from the consulate have to say about the attack in which their boss and three co-workers were murdered. They could probably clear up the mystery in short order. Where ARE those people, incidentally? In the hospital? In a locked room? Why haven’t we heard anything from them?

I believe there were only four and they’re all dead. 2 staff, 2 ‘former SEALs’ for security.

He’s been saying they knew from day one. Thank goodness for Drudge. He has more daily viewers than the three cable news networks combined.

That would explain things. I thought there was a sizeable group of survivors - I’ve heard a figure of up to 30 staffers - that was ultimately evacuated. Something sticks in my head about there being so many staff to get out that there weren’t enough vehicles to hold them all. I’ll have to do some digging.

There was an early report that Ambassador Stevens had been dispatched to the consulate to coordinate the extraction of local U.S citizens; presumably consulate employees. Later reports appear to discredit that report and indicated that Stevens was at the consulate the night of the attack to attend some sort of cultural event the next day.

There were also early reports of “Marines” dispatched to rescue the ambassador and his IT staffer/security detail. Later that was discredited by HQ USMC; who confirmed there were NO USMC PERSONNEL IN LIBYA at the time of the attack on the consulate. A USMC FAST was deployed from Rota, Spain to the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli the day after the ambassador and his staff were murdered.

It appears the initial report of the “Marine rescue team” sent to the consulate was a misidentification of a mixed force of Libyan militia and DoS security contractor personnel. Any wounded Americans would have been amongst that group and I seriously doubt they will be talking given the nature of their employment and likely contractual agreements limiting their ability to release any info regarding their duties w/o written permission from DoS ...which ain't gonna happen!

Wouldn’t they evacuate Stevens first? Hmmmm.. Maybe all the staff were female. That’s about right for this administration.. One gay and all the rest female. But based on a video of Stevens being pulled out of the burned wreckage I would say only 4 during the attack. Why would looters be the ones extricating Stevens if so many people were there?

What was the time interval between the demonstrations (riots) outside the US Embassy in Cairo and the attack on the consulate in Benghazi? Did US installations in the Middle East get a state department advisory to increase security, first because it was the eleventh anniversary of nine-eleven and then because of the Cairo attacks? These are the questions I wish our so-called journalists would ask.

Look at the difference in the face between Mccain and Stevens.

Some official over there is saying Stevens was a Muslim.

The obama regime's relationship with the islamists is akin to a co-dependent relationship with an abusive spouse.

Anything can set them off. They beat the crap out of the victim and tell them it's their fault. The victim apologizes, showing weakness and accepting blame, inviting more violence and confirming to the attacker that he is in the right.
