State board votes that Obama can be on Kansas ballot

TOPEKA – The State Objections Board brought the issue of President Barack Obama’s eligibility to be on Kansas ballots to a swift end Monday morning.

After accepting several records related to Obama’s birth in Hawaii, Mark Dugan, Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer’s chief of staff, moved to overrule the objection and close the board’s meeting.

The board’s unanimous vote brings an end to an objection raised by Manhattan resident Joe Montgomery, who said Obama shouldn’t be on Kansas ballots and isn’t qualified to be president because his parents were not both born in the United States.

I guess Montgomery doesn’t know where Romney’s dad was born.

Not to be cynical, but will Kansas get a fast-tracked nuclear reactor or other goodies from the feds now?

No, but Obama has a snowball's chance of taking the state anyway.

Don't be surprised, Kansas did provide US with Kathleen Seibulus. (sp) Among a few other big government politicians. But I might add may God bless those hard working farmers... Remember all that Sprint that occupies a good portion of one of the riches counties in America, Johnson County, KS is led by liberals and Clinton soccer moms.

We left it up to one guy that pulled out at the last minute, eclipsing anyone else from filing.

We should have had a war room to bombard the SOS’s with challenges.

Kris Kobach has had it pointed out to him by Attorney Larry Klayman that HI registrar Alvin Onaka declined to verify that the White House image is a “true and accurate representation of the original record on file” - and thus confirms that it is NOT. I will be very interested to see what evidence Kobach has that contradicts Onaka’s prior disclosure - or why any contradictory disclosure by Onaka at this point wouldn’t simply require an investigation to see which of the mutually-exclusive legal claims made by Onaka is actually correct. Regardless of what Onaka may or may not have provided Kobach, Obama has AT BEST 2 contradictory claims from Hawaii regarding the validity of his birth record.

If Kobach was given something that duplicates the MDEC verification - simple verification that the birth claims on the White House BC match the birth claims on the (non-valid) BC in Hawaii.... then Obama doesn’t have ANYTHING to contradict Onaka’s disclosure of a non-valid record. And Kobach’s comment makes it seem like that is what he received from Onaka, if anything.

We’ll see...

We elect our share of Democrat governors, but we never give the Dems our electoral votes. The last time it happened was 1964.

It’s good to be King.

Wonder what little goodies the rock-ribbed-conservative SOS and panel members got in return. Probably nothing. Republicans like to be unpaid whores.

So I guess anyone in Kansas can just post fake documents online that match the fake ones they hold in their possession.

Oh wait, that’s only for the privileged elites from Harvard.

They should just shut down all the law schools especially Harvard’s law school. Nothing good comes out of there.

“We should have had a war room to bombard the SOS’s with challenges.”

It doesn’t matter. The game is rigged. Nobody can ever win. That’s the lawlessness here.

http://thesteadydrip.blogspot.com/2012/03/obama-passportgate-history.html

No matter how corrupt you may already think Obama is, this will shock you.

Security breaches at the State Dept. to delete, alter, or build files for Obama.

Some files were completely obliterated like his passport, birth certificate, school records, mother’s passport, marriage & divorce records, school yearbooks, and INS records.

Some were built, like a Selective Service file and a new passport. Some forged like the birth certificate. Mostly with the help of John Brennan, an ex-CIA man with access to the files. He still works for Obama as his assistant.

Obama’s close ties to FactCheck. His multiple visits to Kenya. The murdered informant.

It’s long, but worth reading. Obama makes the Manchurian Candidate look like an amateur.

"Kobach said today that he’s convinced that Obama’s birth certificate on the White House website matches the certified copy from the Hawaii Department of Health."

I don't suppose the Kansan peons get to see any proof or are they to rely only on Kobach's beliefs?

I can't imagine how a person with any character (especially a rock-ribbed conservative/sarc) at all could sleep at night participating in this bogus charade. And why bother to have Bar Associations? They don't do anything and really aren't needed any longer.

The article is short on details.

There are a few interesting/incriminating bits:

After accepting several records related to Obama’s birth in Hawaii, Mark Dugan, Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer’s chief of staff, moved to overrule the objection and close the board’s meeting.

What records where accepted?

[Secretary of State] Kobach said today that he’s convinced that Obama’s birth certificate on the White House website matches the certified copy from the Hawaii Department of Health.

Kobach seems to be stating that Kansas has received a certified copy from the Hawaii Department of Health. viz "the certified copy".

This makes his "convinced" comment rather odd. Why not a simple declaratory, "the WH BC PDF matches the certified copy"? What is there to be convinced about, either it matches or it doesn't.

Moreover, "matching" is irrelevant. A certified "true and correct copy" is what is needed. The fact that Kobach has made no direct mention of a certified "true and correct copy" tells us everything.

If Kansas had a such a certified copy we wouldn't be hearing about Kobach being "convinced", would we? We wouldn't be hearing that the WH BC PDF "matches", would we? We would be hearing about the certified "true and correct copy" received from HI DOH.
