Media having a little narrative problem today {Politico's hit piece fails]?

It’s not often that I laugh out loud while reading my e-mail (and that’s not an invitation to forward the jokes from 1996 still circulating, either), but today’s entries left me no choice. No less than three media outlets have scoops about the Mitt Romney campaign this morning that describe changes in strategy and direction. The only problem is that all three contradict each other despite having come from sources inside the campaign.

lol.... sounds just like the reporters, or the same source that " coordinated " and " colluded " on asking the same questions to Romney over and over again last week in his response to the crises in the middle east.

You know when someone is lying or trying to run a scam or scheme when they can't keep their stories straight.

It’s easier to coordinate the truth.

The politico “scoop” on this amounted to nothing. They weren’t happy with the first speechwriter, so the guys who wrote Ryan’s speech had 8 days to write a new one.

Big whoopee, and oh the horror, it meant less time to practice the speech.

But Romney delivered the speech just fine. Then you had general descriptions of the Romney campaign manager and if that was “infighting” they should have avery smooth administration.

Folks, here is how to beat back another narrative - the Clinton “Democrats are great for jobs’ lie....

By Clinton’s own metric of jobs gained or lost on his watch, Obama is one of the worst Presidents since Hoover. On his watch, we have had net job destruction: 300,000 fewer jobs now than when he took office. Moreover, ALL the Presidents who had the largest jobs gains - JFK/LBJ, Reagan and Clinton - had one policy in common: They CUT tax rates; for JFK/LBJ it was top earners, for Reagan it was across the board rate reduction and for Clinton it was the cap gains rate reduction. Those tax rate reductions created jobs.

Obama wants to destroy jobs by insisting on HIGHER rates for millions of AMericans, ON TOP of the massive tax increases he already passed in Obamacare. These are job killers.

If we want job creation the obvious answer is we need a tax reform that lowers rates. Romney will deliver that. Obama? He will deliver HOOVERnomic - higher taxes, spending and lower job creation.

Clinton is a very good liar. He told many lies in his speech, here is just one deconstructed:

Compare these narratives with Rich Lowry’s “Horses**t!” post last week when he asked a Romney insider about the supposed panic in the campaign.

The media will say Romney is bing more specific about his plans because Obama is beating him and he needs to change. I think these guys have had the basic plan for the general in place from the time it was down to Mitt and Santorum and if they changed it much at all it was probably about the time Ryan came aboard.

I can only hope that more and more Americans are waking up to how corrupt the media has become. Joseph Gobbles is smiling up at our current situation.

Wasn't there a made up TV show about the White House? What was the name of that show? I never watched it, but I heard that the scriptwriter had this fantasy about what a perfect Clinton administration would be. Sounds like the media are now writing there own fiction and pretending that it is the truth.

It must make them feel better living in a dream world where their president is perfect.

We need to rewrite their dream.

Where are the Journolist subscribers gathering online now to coordinate their attacks since Journolist was exposed?

Old habits die hard. And reporters have colluded with the DNC for the past several election cycles (including the 2006 “culture of corruption” homosexual scandals in the GOP and the forged National Guard memos).

Sounds accurate, and it sounds positively Stalinist (or Orwellian to "speak nicely" rather than using divisive terms like Communist).

Most business owners and managers would immediately fire someone they caught continuously sleeping on the job. Yet, they have no problem giving money to media outlets who are constantly asleep. Advertising with media outlets who fail to do their job of correcting the present administration, is paying failure. The media is intentionally laying down to take a nap during business hours. How many more potential customers would there be for a business if the media would quit shilling for the Democrat party?

That would be “West Wing”. I never watched it either but believe Larry O’Donnell, the MSNBC Resident Lunatic, was a writer for the show.

What will happen now is that one of the alphabet networks, or PMSNBC, will do a story on all of these different reports and use it to try and prove that it is the Romney campaign that is in disarray (and not the "news" media!).

Spin, spin, spin - I picture the whole US media inside of a running front-load washing machine.

Obama is Jimmy Carter 2.0 and all the press wants to do is make up or exaggerate stories about Romney’s campaign being in “turmoil.”

Unfortunately we had enough Americans willing to replace Carter but I’m not sure this America wants to rid of the loser in the Whitehouse.
