Panasonic, Canon shutter China factories amid violent anti-Japan protests

Major electronics firms Panasonic and Canon have temporarily suspended production at factories in China after a territorial dispute over a group of uninhabited islets in the East China Sea triggered violent anti-Japanese protests.

Sites linked to auto manufacturers Toyota and Honda have also been attacked in the unrest, which has forced frightened expatriates into hiding and sent relations between Asia's two biggest economies into crisis.

Ratcheting up tensions further on Monday, Chinese state media warned Japan it could suffer another "lost decade" if trade ties soured. Japan counted China as its top trade partner last year, with total two-way trade of more than $340 billion.

It could be amazing how quickly this country could descend into chaos. China is going to start flexing its muscle. If reelected I expect Obama will be rolling over for any communist or Muslim regime. We are already in deep poop but it could get a whole lot worse in the next few years.

Bo Xilai was ‘Removed’ in March 2012 - and a running gun battle was part of the removal.

All in not well in China. The leadership is in turmoil - so just like the politicians in US when the economy is bad, something comes up to divert the public’s attention.

Right now, Japan bashing will serve.

Make no mistake, there is deep deated hatred for Japan in China, if the US bails out of the area - leaves Korea, Japan and the like in a move to save money, I see Japan and China trading nukes in less than a decade.

I think you are right... I don't know where our country is headed, but if we avert some type of disaster it will be a miracle. Obama has done a lot to contribute to our demise, but he is also a symptom of what was started long ago when the leftists infiltrated Hollywood, our universities, and the media.
