CHICAGO (AP) - FBI agents have arrested a man they say planned to set off a car bomb outside a bar in downtown Chicago.
Federal prosecutors say 18-year-old Adel Daoud was arrested Friday night in an undercover operation in which agents pretending to be extremists provided him with a phony car bomb.

We read about these types going off everyday right here in this country like unstable isotopes. The blame lies not so much with the 12’th century reprobates themselves, but with our politicians who have conspired to pack the country to the rafters with undesirables to justify their police state lockdown on the American people.
I am sick, sick, sick of headlines like this.

as if “teen” were the most relevant identifying characteristic. And then, to compound it, they make sure to identify him in the first sentence as an “American man” and again in the second sentence as “a U.S. citizen.”
The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
This is obviously an attempt to cover the fact that he is one or more of the following:
1. Arab
2. foreign
3. black
4. Islamic
5. not born here

Point taken, but they did at least mention that the purpose of this was to wage violent jihad.
I’m intrigued by the vagueness about the bar. Was it a big tourist bar in the middle of downtown like Harry Caray’s or was it maybe in one of the smaller, peripheral “downtowns” away from the lakefront?
The mystery says to me that there is something counter to the narrative going on, here. Targeting a protected group.
There’s a rather large jihadi training facility in Hillside. Just sayin’.
Not that I’d advocate doing such a thing, but I’ve been wondering since all these reputed al Qaeda hoax bomb threat started: if someone were to call in a hoax bomb threat for this place you mention, would they let bomb-sniffing dogs in?
Shook me up there for a second, I thought it said Hillsdale when I first scanned it.
I’ll bet those dogs would sniff up some interesting stuff if they did.

I live in Hillside and I don't know of it. I DO know of a former Public Grade School in Berkeley on St. Charles Road that the mooslimes bought and converted into a mosque. Is that what you were thinking of?
