Ambassador Chris Stevens did not have a Marine detail in Benghazi, Libya. But White House Senior Advisor and Obama confidante Valerie Jarrett has a full Secret Service detail on vacation in Martha’s Vineyard, according to Democratic pollster Pat Caddell. That’s the pathetic foreign policy of the Obama administration, says Caddell today in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News. “Jarrett seems to have a 24 hour, around the clock detail, with five or six agents full time,” Caddell explains. “The media has been completely uninterested. We don’t provide security for our ambassador in Libya, but she needs a full Secret Service security detail. And nobody thinks there’s anything wrong with this. And nobody in the press will ask. What kind of slavish stoogery are they perpetrating here? “This country has reached the point of absurdity. There are people dead because we don’t have security details for them. But she’s privileged to have a full Secret Service detail on vacation?” Caddell points out that Americans are already unhappy with President Obama on foreign policy aside from the killing of Osama Bin Laden. Caddell, along with Republican pollster John McLaughlin, runs Secure America, a nonpartisan advocacy group. “We’ve just finished two polls coming out in the field today,” says Caddell, “but we already know that people feel strongly about Iran; they feel strongly about the administration’s policy with regard to Islamic extremists. They don’t like the Obama administration’s handling of these issues. And this election won’t only be about the economy. The American people aren’t stupid. They can walk and chew gum at the same time.”

Doesn’t matter all that much if there is a security detail surrounding the ambassador, they are not permitted to have live rounds in their weapons anyway.
Unless the Marines are really, really good at unarmed or knife combat, and their swords are at the ready.

I’ll bet American ambassadors around the world are literally shitting their pants. There will be no help for them. They are counting on common door locks for security, and comprimised local staff for help. I would resign my commission and tell the American staff get the heck out of Dodge.

A lot of the prime ambassadorships go to select people - FOB (Friends of Barry), high rollers who give huge bucks to the cause. I doubt a hellhole like Libya was one of these, but for the others, maybe they want to re-think their adoration of "The One".

And now the GOP passed a law that Obama signed making it a felony to protest in the presence of a protectee. The SS gets to designate any area they please as a “no free speech zone”.

The ambasador in Libya was out of his water wandering off to a “consulate” which only happened to be secured by contractors, two of whom got killed. The curious part of this story is that Jarret qualifies for any kind of security when she’s not with the Prezzy. As far as I can tell she’s an “advisor”, not an appointed official.

Well there is Pat Caddell who was interviewed for this piece. I believe he has since left the Democrat party, but he was Jimmy Carter’s pollster and had the job of telling Jimmah the night before the 1980 election that he was going to lose and lose badly to Ronaldus Magnus. Caddell is a patriot who calls things honestly. You may not always agree with him, but when it comes to analyzing the sausage factory that D.C. has become he is spot on.

The wicked One doesn’t need security, IMO, however, she will need a very good group of attorneys to keep her arse out of prison!

I’m about a third of the way through reading Bob Woodward’s new book about this administration and can tell you Valerie Jarrett is ALWAYS there and seems to have incredible power.
