Via Mediaite. I’m not sure how to square this with the fact that in Tunisia today they were chanting, “Obama, Obama, we are all Osamas,” since I’m pretty sure the Egyptian Copt who produced the Mohammed movie isn’t named “Obama.”
Go look at the map of today’s protests assembled by the Atlantic. To the extent that anyone involved actually cares about the movie, what they care about is the fact that the U.S. government refuses to censor it. The government would like to censor it, clearly, but they’re barred by the First Amendment; Islamist totalitarians have trouble with that concept, though, so they’re holding the White House responsible for the film’s publication despite Carney’s obsequious stammering over how mean and disgusting and reprehensible and awful it is. They’re protesting the idea of free speech, in other words, which is supposed to be — supposed to be — “U.S. policy.”
That’s not an effigy of Obama they’re burning - it’s an effigy of the film maker. That’s the ticket...

That was not an American Ambassador, J. Christopher Stevens, that was murdered. Those were not two Navy SEALs and another American citizen that were murdered.
Yes, I see it now. I thank Obama and his administration for the clarity, because I was starting to get just a wee bit nervous.

Don’t remember saying I wasn’t going to post. The last I heard from you, you weren’t going to post to me anymore.
I haven’t been posting quite as much because I’ve been trying to keep the economy running by spending money on my boat. She’s a big beautiful boat, she can be expensive to maintain and she loves to drink gas, lots of it.
I have also been frustrating the PETA loons by killing as many fish as legally I can.
Tonight we are having fresh Coho salmon that my bride caught about 2 hours ago, new potatoes & peas in cream sauce, Crimini mushrooms cooked with olive oil and garlic on the bbq, and a green salad.... for dessert— we will have strawberry shortcake. I don’t drink much anymore and even though I get teased about it, I will wash it all down with sugarless Kool-Aid (red) in a chilled wine glass.
In October we will be into the King salmon. Those guys can get very large around here. King salmon die with honor, because they fight like hell and will fight to the very last second.
Life is good and I am livin’ it my way... screw Obama and the damn democrats.
