Are you joking? The media doesn’t give a shit who was responsible for the Ambassadors safety, whether or not Obama was forewarned or the stupidity of Obamas destabilization of the Mideast. They simply want to know if Romney took a tax deduction for donating his old inderwear to charity. Except that was Clintoon and they are not interested in that either.

There were NO Marines guarding Stevens in Benghazi or the embassy there either. so all of those types and related questions are useless.

Was he tortured?? Did you see the pictures of him as a crowd carried him to where ever. He was not found for almost 12 hours. This is the culkture that engages in rape of the vanquished as sport and a sign of honor.... doesn’t take a rocket scientist

The President, who else.

As the Captain of a ship is responsible for everything that happens on his ship, the President of the ship of state is responsible for all that happens on his watch.

“engages in rape of the vanquished as sport and a sign of honor”

The only moral response to such a culture is total destruction.

Then his life was wasted and the truth of how he died are irrelevant. This is shameful. These questions beg to be answered and no one will ask them, no one cares. He apparently, is just considered expendable by the State Department.

Congressman Devin Nunes interviewed on the John Batchelor Show (radio) earlier this evening (13 Aug 2012) said that the Department of State refused to meet with The Select Committee on Intelligence about warnings and will not meet to discuss the current crises.

Congressman Devin Nunes is a member of The Select Committee on Intelligence

The House intelligence committee used to be "one of the meanest snake pits in Congress" but lately the members have cooperated at least -- at the same time the Obama Administration (apparently) has been telling the Committee to pound salt.

I cannot source this. There is nothing on the Internet yet so I have only my memory. I did not check the Congressman's web site -- he or others may have commented on the problem before tonight.

I think that the host country is responsible to protect foreign embassies.

I think that each US embassy has a contingent of Marines, don’t they?

Wonder why they didn’t fight back? Or even call in fighter jet support.

Sounds like they are stonewalling. There are so many questions that need to be asked, and we need answers.

Well it looks like he wasn't actually at the embassy but at the Benghazi consulate. Consulates are branch offices of the embassy, they usually don't have anywhere near the same security as embassies. Some do, but most don't.

Having armed foreigners in their country would be offensive.

Hillary had the personal assurances from the guy she helped depose the horrible dictator that everything would be OK.

He was the one leading the attack.

That is why she is so bewildered.
