During the past 4 years Obama has done nothing but enhance his own position, and that of his crony's. As a president he's a train wreck. His main activity is buying votes with our money. Even those on the dole must realize that if the economy goes bust those checks will stop. His lies and broken promises could fill a telephone book. I can't list even a fraction of the underhanded crap he fostered. Only after he's deposed will the whole truth be known,resulting hopefully in his deportation to Kenya or any of his beloved Islamic countries. Vote him OUT!!!

That is entirely doubtful! Just look at Europe. The economies everywhere are in shambles because of the socialistic giveaways. But have the people on the dole come to their senses? Heck no! They are angry that the giveaways have dwindled. In France, the solution is to get more from the “rich”. Never-mind that the rich are leaving the country in droves. There is a tremendous disconnect. So if you are thinking that the takers will suddenly see the light, I am sorry to tell you that is very wishful thinking not based on reality. You are thinking like a normal, responsible, independent adult. Those on the dole and demanding more are not in the same category.

They’re driving....do they like $4 gasoline? How about expensive groceries, do they like that? How about a 40 percent average decline in our net worth (like our home values)? Etc, etc. Even super dimwitted dems have to be noticing financial pain.

My absolute biggest nightmare fear is that the population of 41% of 1980 idiots has grown to a frightening 52.5% solid majority of idiot 2012 voters. Mass drones of government cultists. It is, after all, learned behavior by leftist design. Obama acts as if he’s positively certain this is the electoral situation and that he cannot loose. If true then we have ahead of us nothing to look forward to but perpetual madness and crisis until the collapse finally comes oh so ‘unexpectedly’. The press will feign such shock at the completely predictable miserable outcome.
( The media and the public unions, especially in education, and their political enablers, who are supposed to be representing ALL of us, are the complete enemy of our liberties )
If the Reagan coalition does not emerge with a forceful mandate-majority in this election (50+ LONG days from now), I will then know the answer to this fundamental question, and we will go Galt and just stop even trying to help our country avoid the catastrophe that modern progressivisim / socialism will no doubt bring upon our nation. This house will simply turn it all off and ride it out as best as any American can expect to. 2008 made me cry. 2010 gave me a thin string of hope while causing Boehner to cry. 2012 is to me without a doubt the critical measurement of the sanity and prudence remaining in this country. If we fail this, it’s over. Decline is imminent.
If we are victorious, we will still have PLENTY of work to do to fumigate the Media and Universities and tear these demented people out of our government by the damn roots. Pray for America. I have been doing so regularly.

Oh yeah, Conservatives work will just be starting if we win. Problem is Conservatives tend to win elections and then go to sleep. It happened in 1994 and 2000.

Obama wishes he was in Carter’s shoes right now. Those not working are watching their “funding” evaporate due to inflation (whether they receive welfare, disability, social security/pension, living on savings, etc.), and many laid off may never work again (at least in the 1970s we had marketable job skills in a nation that was leading the world). Those working are watching their earnings shrink for the same reason. What really will sink Obama is the belief that he will do nothing to fix this; in fact, until he was notified he’d probably lose, he acted as though nothing was wrong at all!

Dammit, I wish I could say you are wrong.
What I can say is I get the sense that another landslide toward R is possible. Can’t put my finger on it yet. The media is so blocking for their guy, perhaps they will manage to massage the message again in Obozo’s favor. Lord knows they are really good at pretending he’s great. But I have not surrendered yet to the idea that America will take this chance for empty promises again. Not leaning towards ‘likely’, yet.

It’s utterly incomprehensible unless and until we recall that fifty percent of all Americans (roughly speaking) have IQs below the median of 100, and that many, if not most, of all Black people would vote for a congenital idiot as long as he had Black skin (and all the while seeking every single possible excuse to blame White people for racism).
Additionally, of course, there are a great number of homosexuals, women’s liberationists, communists, socialists and trade union members who will vote for Obama out of a concern for a single issue and/or out of pure greed, without any consideration whatsoever about the affairs of others or the good of the nation.
The press, of course, and almost without exception, are seeking the Great Socialist Utopia so popular in science fiction novels and television programs of the more mediocre variety, and the sort of sunshine novels of imaginative fiction which happily ignore the three thousand years of documented human nature represented by history in order to embrace fanciful notions of “human perfectability” - which generally means that everyone in society is expected to behave as the Liberals in the press would have them behave.
Which, of course, means that the wise and all-knowing media professionals would tell everyone what to do and how to do it, in the happy expectation that it would happen that way.
In other words, yes, there remain a good many imbeciles, racists, and intellectual and moral perverts who will continue to vote for Obama until the United States is a vast ruin in tribute to their pet fantasies.
The thing is, he doesn’t care if people start starving in the streets because things have headed south under his “leadership”. If he has a secind term he will merely put more footprints on the Constitution and use ‘Executive” Orders to further decrease our freedoms. The Dims are happy because they think they win even if he loses. If he wins, they will work tirelessly to take our freedoms away so they can amass unassailable power over the People. If he loses, Romney will have to step up and make the hard decisions and he will get the blame for what the Dims have wrought. They think that the more pain in such a case is to their advantage to acquiring the WH and both Houses of Congress in which case they will take over absolute control - in 5 years there will be no record that our Constitution ever existed.
