GALLUP POLL: 68% ARE UNHAPPY WITH COUNTRY'S DIRECTION

The number of Americans satisfied with the country’s direction has nearly tripled over the past year, but a majority of them remain upset with where the United States is headed, according to a poll released Wednesday.

Three-in-ten Americans, or 30 percent, are very satisfied or somewhat satisfied, a Gallup poll found. That number is dwarfed by the 68 percent who are unhappy, including 41 percent who described themselves as very dissatisfied.

“This is the one I always come back to. Reading RCP polls, they almost always have 0bama in the lead by some margin. But the ‘direction’ poll is telling...and it defies logic that if the huge majority thought the country was headed in the wrong direction, then why oh why would they elect the guy who brought us there?”

People may still be telling the polls they “like” Obama (and they know that they are lying when they make the statement), but they tell the truth about the economy because the answer is somewhat “detached” from Obama. In my opinion, this is the money question and FUBO ( and his media sycophants) know they are in deep sh!t.

What I don’t understand is:

1. America is on the wrong track
2. therefore, I’m voting to re-elect Obama.

Makes you wonder if Obama is not part of the question, Americans feel safe to speak their minds but when Obama’s name is mentioned in the question, the Wilder effect takes over and people speak their fidelity to Obama for fear of being called a racist.

You’re always so full of good positive posts. Nobody wants sunshine blown up their ass, but you have very little good things to say in your posts. That can be just as annoying.

I’m sorry to hear about that I know how it’s like, I graduated in 08 and it took me three years to find a full time job, that was the most frustrating time of my life, but I stuck in there and got work. I like you, don’t want another four years of this garbage, I want to see the economy grow, I want to have a bright future for my yet to be born children, I want the price of gas to go down so I can buy a new car and afford payments. I think a lot of people feel this way.

RE: 68% Unhappy with country’s direction.

And yet, polls show that a significant number vote to go FORWARD. Go figure....

And yet, a big chunk of that 68% will vote for Obama and hope he pays their mortgage and gas for them. Way too many Americans see the solution for our problems to be giving bigger handouts.

Oh but, don’t worry they really, really want 4 more years of this crap./sarc

Not sure if that /sarc tag is needed. It'll be interesting to see what the Gallup numbers re: 0 vs R will be today.

Hysterically funny stuff. Each election you try and help the RATS with more and more ridiculous alternatives to the Republican. It won’t be long before your candidates won’t get more votes than the Mickey Mouse write-ins.

This latest makes The Disaster look experienced.

How much of a lunatic does one have to be to run for president when he not only does not have a chance but is laughably unqualified?

If this loon’s name was subject to a recognition test there would not be 0.00001% of the polled who recognize it.

One could not DELIBERATELY find a more obscure candidate.

Says a man who is supporting the most liberal governor in the history of the republic.

What could be more ridiculous than that?

So, you’re on America’s premiere conservative forum, declaring that it is ridiculous to support me, someone who has consistently fought for more than twenty years for every single stated principle on the homepage of Free Republic, more than it is is ridiculous to support the most liberal governor in the history of the republic.

Okey-dokey then.

Three-in-ten Americans, or 30 percent, are very satisfied or somewhat satisfied

Every day i wonder where people like this come from if your satisfied with the direction of our country where is your head right now or where has it been that you can't see this is the wrong direction for freedom and prosperity

Or are these maybe the folks who are well off enough to not think that these times will effect them directly

I just don't understand how people can be that stupid or oblivious ....

Unfortunately most of the masses are more interested in sucking the life out of God`s unborn children, and celebrating homosexuality, than they are in anything else.

A Jewish elected Democrat on Cavuto yesterday gave that very answer (I paraphrase) as why so many American Jews vote Democrat.

His exact words....their support for abortion/homosexuality trumps the plight of their brothers well being in Israel.

Now I know most Jews reject Christ, but I would like to ask them what in Heavens name their Old Testament has to say about Homosexuality and harming a child/abortion.

I and they know very well what it says.

Jesus was a Jew, am not knocking Jews, I weep for them, just as I do the poor dumb black`s and Catholic Dems etc that basically ALL spit on Christ.

ALL these folks are going to vote Democrat regardless of their situation.
