It’s been a while since I’ve been to our embassy in Cairo. It was like a fortress in 1997, and I can only imagine that they’ve beefed it up significantly since 9/11. Attackers are lucky the Marines didn’t blow their heads off.

I do. These are treasure irreplaceable and shouldn’t be destroyed just to “prove” what everyone knows. That the infestation of Moslems in Egypt that occurred thousands of years after those were created, is an ongoing tragedy. Islam hadnt even been invented yet when those pyramids were built.
The current inhabitants of Egypt are not the people who built those amazing structures. This is exactly why we buit neutron bombs. And im 100% serious. Wipes out the infestation, and leaves the buildings intact. This should be considered. Ditto for Mecca. There no reason to destroy these old buildings,,they didn’t do anything wrong.

No, they have not. According to the Department of State, embassies are not sovereign territories and remain the territory of the host state. However, an embassy does represent a sovereign state and as such this outrage does represent an attack on the United States according to international agreement.
And if we had a leader with cojones, we'd be having a short and one-sided conversation with the Egyptian Ambassador at this very moment.
