On 9-11 Anniversary, New York Times Op-Ed Blames Bush
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

For the New York Times, what better way to observe the 11th anniversary of 9-11 than by exploiting it for political purposes and seeking to blame George W. Bush?

The Times chose to publish on its op-ed page today a column by Kurt Eichenwald, a former Times reporter now with Vanity Fair, entitled "The Deafness Before the Storm." Its gruel is thin when it comes to actually assembling a case of any real Bush-administration negligence. And that is the best evidence that Eichenwald and the Times were not motivated by any sincere desire to review the historical record with the goal of preventing future lapses. Rather, this is cheap political exploitation and finger-pointing at its basest.

How does the New York Times observe the 9-11 anniversary? By trying to exploit it for cheap political gain, of course. Ping to Today show list.

“The Path to 9/11”, uncut, should be shown every 9/11. If it was, and the American people knew the truth, Bill Clinton could not show his face in public, let alone roam the nation as a campaign asset for Obama. Unfortunately, Disney ownes the rights, and has buried the truth. So we have to work 100x as hard to get it out there, working against massive enemies like the NYT.

Perhaps a new low for the NYT attempting for political purposes to place the liability of the 911 attacks on GWB.

Instated, on this day we must understand that Bill Clinton had direct responsibility for the 911 Attacks as he did little or nothing to prevent the attacks despite numerous indications the attacks would take place.

This would be a good time for the Romney campaign to remind people of the Clinton liability for the Attacks of 911.

The New York Times is a liberal joke and has been for a long time. What do you expect from this rag?

When I reflect on 9/11, I saddens me to realize that the terrorists won. We now live in a police state where we are under constant surveillance by TSA goons, FBI facial recognition software, NSA monitoring of email and internet use, and even local yokel cops with military hardware to put down civil insurrection. The muslims got us to give up our freedom for the illusion of security. Its an illusion because they could strike again at any time. The muslims also bankrupted us by dragging us into two long wars, and were probably complicit in the 2008 financial meltdown. They won. They destroyed our liberty, prosperity, and way of life. They were aided by the allies here in America, of course - useful idiots like Democrat politicians and the media, but they won a huge victory that day. Makes me wish we’d just nuked them all instead of “nation building” which was a huge failure at a huge cost.

what do you expect from a paper which on the morning of 9-11-01 had printed the anti-US trash of obama's friend Bill Ayers on the same page

I’ve seen presumably intelligent people classify this as a truther piece, which it isnt, of course.

There was generally many warnings before the hit, none of which were taken any notice of. For example, there was the Able Danger data which did nothing but land Tony Schaffer in trouble with the government. There was a highly placed intel operative, Colleen something, who tried to raise the alarm. And there was Mestamachine and myself who got to be the center of quite deadly attention when we tried to point out a cell recruiting further sucicide operatives a week before 9.11., a cell which later on seems to have had some connection with Barack Obama.

And those are just off the top of my head. There is much more, including the whole Sandy Berger story.

Not to mention it cost a good man, Congressman Weldon, his seat in Congress for daring to take us seriously.

Yes they did, and it wasn't just a coincidence.

There is a pattern to the terrorist attacks all the way back to the 1st WTC attack in 1993.

Prior to each and every terrorist attack, attempted attack, or threat of attack, the left will always gin up civil unrest, attempt to gin up civil unrest, or they have a plan to gin up civil unrest. The latest underwear bomb was proceeded ginning up civil unrest over Trayvon Martin.

The pattern to the terrorist attack is straight out of the Weather Underground playbook.

In an al Quaeda doc recovered in Afghanistan, a letter from UBL to Mullah Omar, listed as doc # AFGP-2002-600321 in the CTC at West Point's Harmony Database, UBL makes the comment “the news is 90% of the preparation for the battle”.

If you have a small scale attack you can carry It out based on what is in the news. For a large scale attack you can't. You have to orchestrate the news for it, then follow up with the correct spin after the attack.

The terrorist overseas do not have the ability to orchestrate the news prior to an attack for weeks even months hammering away at the same phony story, much less giving the correct spin to the news after the attack, only the left in this country has the ability to do that.

With 9/11 the phony story to gin up civil unrest prior to the attack was “Bush stole the election”. The phony spin to the news following the attack “Bush knew”.

Both phony stories came directly from the Clintons.

The sandy berger story and what was in the archives he stole will never see the light of day without putting lives in danger. There are also the Steven Hatfil, (CIA,) and Bruce Ivens cases which will never see the light of day because this government WILL protect saudi interests long before they protect or defend whistleblowers and agents who have long since departed enmasse because they know too much.
Some have gone underground and some have chosen to stay in the public eye because they think being public figures protects them, and to some extent, it does, but that can also end very abruptly if they talk too much.
The things they hold over their heads can send them to prison or worse, even though they did what they did under the auspices of agencies they worked for. Records that were promised to be cleared after certain ops were kept for purposes of literal blackmail.
They WILL destroy your life and you are helpless to do a damn thing about it.
