Me thinks the pollsters are getting a little nervous that the American public are wising up to their ‘juicing the numbers’ scams.

Thank you, “El Rushbo”

Are you seriously suggesting that Bammy is going to have the same black turnout as in 2008? Acorn got busted.

A fraction of that vote, maybe.

There was no "Bradley Effect" then and there isn't now. There was a huge reverse "Bradley Effect" then. Now there are many who realized what a disaster that was but are not willing to publicly admit it, bit they will stay home or pull the lever for Romney and fix their "mistake".

The “black vote” is irrelvent since it is concentrated in areas obama will win anyway by and large.

What i worry about are the throngs and masses of lib white women who are as energized as ever to put obama back in office.

I just keep remembering 2008 - FR was in denial to very end. The polls ain’t good. It remains to be seen whether or not they’re accurate.

Romney needs to grab the patriotic high ground and stomp Obama into the mud.

Really? A president that can’t break 50%.. not good. I also heard that Obama’s national numbers are skewed by wide margins in California and New York. In battleground state he is tied or behind.

Add the poor job numbers released last week and the stupidity becomes even more evident.

About half those without a job, don't want a job as long as they have an unemployment check.

Obama voters.

Acorn got busted.

We've just had stories how in Cleveland and Wisconsin, hundreds of thousands of black registered voters have "disappeared". Phony ACORN voters going POOF!

Like you, I found the DNC Godless abortionpalooza very disturbing, and find even more disturbing how Obama’s numbers could possibly go up. It seems we may not be the same country as when the ‘68 and ‘72 Dem conventions turned people off to the leftist party in our country.

Well, Saturday and Sunday were horrible polling days for Romney, as might be expected the weekend after the Dem Convention.

This will even out over the next couple of days.

Obama does seem to be controlling the narrative at the moment with his stupid “tax cuts for your sex life” schtick. Of course he gets the usual support from the media. Romney needs to step it up.

Bounce seems to have subsided, but Obummer is still at 52% approval in today’s Rasmussen poll. That really isn’t good. Hussein is monopolizing the news again today with 9-11 commemorations. Each and every day the Obama campaign has a plan, a way to knock Willard off stride - and Mitt answers with nothing. Much as I consider Trump a clown, if the R/R team don’t start getting tough on Obama and campaigning vastly more aggressively they are going to lose. That is the path they are on now.

Romney is not facing survival if Obama is re-elected like the rest of us are.

The American people are storing food, ammo, and building underground shelters in preparation of the coming economic collapse if Oboma gets re-elected for gosh sakes. How could anyone NOT notice?

Romney had better put on our shoes and walk around for awhile. This is why he's not making the connection. I think Ryan gets it.

bounce not over...but winding down.

Exactly. Romney;z bounce was stunted by the media's talk of all things DNC the following week. Also, Obama's bounce came on the weekend when he polls best anyway.

Agree, bounce is ending. Between this 3 day poll and the Washington Post poll that came out this morning of likely voters showing Soetoro with a 1 point lead, I believe this thing is still tied going into the debates and Ras will be showing the same +/- 1 point by Friday.

If the heat is hot enough it will drive them out of the Obama kitchen and into the real world. Stay on them

Not when they are under the Eric Holder microscope

Obama is not doing as well this time around with many groups who overwhelmingly supported him in 2008. How many are telling pollsters they are voting for Zero but may not even turn out to vote? Enthusiasm will be big factor.

Yes, yes and yes. People struggling to feed their families and pay for gas - lots of that everywhere and pay the mortgage.

The question in my mind, people need to realize that easy money that this president espouses (cheap dollar) and his federal reserve chairman have a direct correlation to the price of goods being sky high which lower income americans feel more than anything else. These are things that we need to live. I don’t care if the price of an 80 inch LCD is half what it was 5 years ago. The whole inflation statistics used are completely manipulated.

I really feel this misery index is what romney should be touting (inflation plus unemployment). Except find some inflation figures for gas plus food and not include unnecessary items like above which tends to drive the inflation rate down.

What you’re describing is a man who really doesn’t have his heart and principals rooted in an anti big government philosophy. It’s hard for Romney to get passionate against policies that he probably would have supported himself if in the congress/senate. He best start learning to fake it, though.

I always say what i feel, but I just see Romney mailing it in.

I can’t believe how tepid his campaign is.
This is baloney. Romney is going to give everything he has to win. Believe me, they focus group test everything. The red meat everyone wants only makes the people Romney already has solid to him happy. He is wanting to find messages that peel away white and latino, middle-class to upper middle-class, female voters. Further, he is looking for messages that convince those who are persuadable without alienating those who are already set to vote for him. Further, it has to be a message that is not shrill and can be maintained. They will find it, if they haven't already, and begin to peel away at the margins and this will be over by the end of the third week in October.

The only “swing” state, and I can’t believe we are calling it that, Romney is winning is Indiana. I think he takes North Carolina as well, but there are even polls there showing Soetoro ahead. I disagree Romney is currently doing well in swing states. He is losing in Florida, Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, and Colorado. He is doing well in Wisconsin and Iowa compared to 2008, but those are still tossups. He needs to win 7 out of those 9 to win the election and Florida has to be one of them (it is a muct win).
