"Indefinite Leave" for anti-Christian Florida Dem official
The Palm Beach Post ^ | Sep. 6th 2012 | George Bennett

Posted on 09/06/2012 11:42:29 AM PDT by DesScorp

Palm Beach County Democratic Chairman Mark Alan Siegel has rejected a call from Florida Democratic Party Chairman Rod Smith to resign over Siegel’s statement that fundamentalist Christians want to see Jews “slaughtered.”

Siegel instead will take an “indefinite leave of absence,” Smith said after huddling with Siegel and Palm Beach County Tax Collector Anne Gannon and state Rep. Lori Berman for about an hour this morning at the Florida delegation hotel.

“Today I asked for Mark Alan Siegel’s resignation. He has declined. He is embarrassed and humiliated by his inappropriate comments and has requested an indefinite leave of absence, which I have granted. Effective immediately he has been removed from his responsibilities,” Smith said in a statement. “We condemn in the strongest possible manner his comments which are not reflective of the Democratic Party.”

County Democratic Vice Chairwoman Terrie Rizzo will take over Siegel’s responsibilities.

Well, Leftist radicals like him getting “slaughtered” might not be such a bad idea.

Sure they are. Why is he even given the option of staying, leave or no leave. Fire the jerk, kick him out the door

He is neither embarrassed nor humiliated. He probably doesn’t even understand that anyone found his statement offensive. He is a putz.

Nothing like a big mouth hater who can't man-up and personally apologize, then step down.

“He’s embarrassed and humiliated. In lieu of resigning, he has decided to cease work while retaining his paycheck. We acknowledge and appreciate this commitment to the all-pay-and-no-work principles of the Democratic Party.”

What comments are reflective of the Democratic Party? Siegel's wouldn't have made the comments unless he believed they were. What kind of organization hires such a person?

This is another fine example of the echo chamber these people live in. They speak to each other this way and never hear a dissenting voice so they think everyone thinks this way. Then they are flabbergasted (yes flabbergasted) when they are slapped for it.

“Smith said in a statement. “We condemn in the strongest possible manner his comments which are not reflective of the Democratic Party.”

Sure they are reflective of the DemocRats. And they feel the same way about Jewish American voters.

The DemocRats are evil, angry, envious, jealous misanthropes who hate anyone who is doing better than them or happy. They hate success and want the whole world to be either as much a looser as they are now so they can become the uber-powerful and wealthy new commissar aparatchiks.

Maybe Siegel will coop up in hiding with the Dragon Princess Hillary, where she happens to be lurking.

Dear Chairman Mark Alan Siegel,

Christians are the evangelical arm of Judaism - we’re the people who bring pagans and unbelievers to the Hebrew God.

GOPJ

P.S. If someone tries to ‘convert’ you, just say “thanks, but I’m fine with the religion I have’. It’s really that easy.
