Protesters disrupt Labor Day parade

CHARLOTTE, N.C. In the midst of a family-friendly event, about a dozen people from the Occupy Wall Street movement snuck their way into an uptown Labor Day parade between the postal worker’s union and a group supporting the election of Gary Henderson for district court judge.

They chanted, “Left wing, right wing, stop that chatter! Corporations own the government, your votes don’t matter!”

Many of them carried signs written on the back of pizza boxes, and one read, “Obama is a F------ Traitor.”

Shamir said he didn’t see the Occupiers’ message as offensive. “Arrogance is disrespectful,” Shamir said. “ ‘F------’ is not.”

And this circus hasn't even opened yet.

Well, that's sure a great way to fix the economy! Not that these guys really want jobs, anyway.

Hey, I really love it when the "Occupy" nutballs and the Union Thugs square off. Maybe they all will kill each other and make the world a better place.

Let'em rip!

it must be wonderful being a rat.

their language is composed of mostly four letter words, to try to make their case.

and since they could not do too much during the storm in Florida, then they will just bring it to the rat convention.

maybe it will be like “chicago in 68”? that will be a hoot.

they belong to the rats. let them riot amongst their own kind.

that should get a tingle down sissy mathews leg.

blessings, bobo

Sounds like a great stadium cheer for Thursday ... could do “the wave”, too .... see if Obama can make that ‘ocean’ stop rising.

First thing that ran through my mind was a variation of an Old Miller Lite commercial, the one with the parade with one side of the street yelling my "Tastes Great" and the other yelling "Less Filling".

Except this one both sides were yelling "Give me Money and other Free Public Stuff!"

Cool!

It looks like history is repeating itself. Anyone else remember Chicago convention in 1968. Or the 1970 ‘Hard Hats vs. The Hippies’ fights in New York? And how those events blew up backly in the left’s faces?

Granted, the original bout of fisticuffs made a bit more sense. This newer version should prove more entertaining with the minions of the left, Unions and spoiled rotten, snot nosed twerps duking it out and making themselves look like even bigger a**holes.

Looks to me like history is coming full circle; the worm is gnawing on it's own tail.

As to Chicago '68; I remember it, in black and white on Armed Forces TV.

Just got back from the festivities about an hour ago. Horrible weather rolled in around 4 PM. Drowned rats.

After we left, more torrential rain came through, cancelling all of the remaining events. No James Taylor concert.

Sad face. :-)

Get out the popcorn. This should be entertaining.

Gosh. Its kind of like watching a sporting event, but where you want both sides to lose.
