Those of you who listened to Rush yesterday already know this, but: Just as he was coming upon a commercial break, at one point in the broadcast, he closed out with this statement: "Latest poll shows 77 percent of Missourians forgive Todd Akin. He trails McCaskill by only one point. Hmmmmmmm.........."
Why is this in “news/activism”? It should be in chat as there is no link to any article.
I don’t think he can win, don’t think it will very close either.
But I hope he wins and if he does you can crow about it, I won’t mind a bit.
I can't directly oppose people like Rove, but I can fight back by sending donations to Todd Akin.
It is my hope that an army of conservatives will rally to support Todd Akin, and that he will be elected to the Senate.
Take that, Rove.
Checks to the Akin campaign with 'FUKR' on the Memo/For line would send a not-so subtle message...

They do more than just say things. The ‘rats have re-elected a murderer (Kennedy the Schwimmer), a sodomite whose “boyfriend” ran a prostitution ring from his home (Big Barney), a rapist (Clinton), a KKK member (Byrd), a dope addict (Marion Berry) and more. They can kiss my azz.
Sentencing the child to death seems like an islamic thing to me.

That is fine if Republican surrogates like Gingrich defend him. Romney and Ryan and the RNC should still stay far away, and not say anything, or provide any money.
If Akin can win on his own, that is fine. We likely need that seat to win back the Senate, and we likely need MO’s 10 EV’s to win POTUS.
The furor seems to have passed here, but it will start right back up if Romney/Ryan/RNC give him any kind of support. No one should be fooled into thinking otherwise.
We cannot give the Left fuel to energize their base, de-energize our base, and win sympathy for the independents.

If this refers to the poll taken by an advocacy group one has to be skeptical of its validity. Did Rush not do his normal homework?

What if he comes up "just short"; within the margin of cheating? That could happen because the knee jerks attacked him and withdrew money and support.

The Akin “conroversy” brought out just how many will murder innocent babies.
If you allow the rape and incest exceptions you are simply setting vague limits on whic innocent baies you will murder.
No question is more fundamental than “are you comfortable with killing a baby to make your own life or someone else’s life more materially satisfying ?”
I guess I should ask “Is murder acceptable if the victim causes you inconvenience?”
Abort the babies,euthanise the eldery, ill,and disabled.

We can either concede the seat to a vulnerable, wounded incumbent Democrat, or we can beat her with the guy who got nominated.
