Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll(Obama 47-Mitt 44)
www.rasmussenreports.com ^ | Monday, August 27, 2012 | Scott Rasmussen

Posted on 08/27/2012 6:47:45 AM PDT by CaptainK

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows President Obama attracting support from 47% of voters nationwide, while Mitt Romney earns 44% of the vote. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.

A president’s job approval rating is one of the best indicators for assessing his chances of reelection. Typically, the president’s job approval rating on Election Day will be close to the share of the vote he receives. Currently, 50% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) at least somewhat disapprove of the job Obama is doing (see trends).

Baffling.

You have completely liberal outlets over sampling Dems and showing Romney ahead and then Ras pops up with a 3 point lead for Obama.

Guess I need to pay even less attention to polls.

Not to fret!!! Stay strong, this race has not fired up just yet, no matter what the mainstream media say or does. Let’s check back in a few weeks and see where this race is. Stay focused and get out our vote,, no matter what any poll says.

Summer weekend, last one before the Labor Day weekend. Terrific weather here at the shore! Not too cold, not too hot, just right.

Check back September 7!

After Obama sued Gallup, I expect to see him doing a lot better in the polls. Fear is a great motivator.

And the more these morons get to not work and get something for nothing the more they vote for the utter destruction of our democracy. This is really unbelievable.

Maybe I’ve been wrong about American voters. I’ve just assumed they’re just a dumbed-down, disinterested, unaware lot. Perhaps a socialist path is truly what they want. They’ve certainly had plenty of time to see first-hand what Obama has done to this once-great land.

But apparently they’re liking what they’re seeing.

And THAT’S the most unnerving part.

You can't live and die on daily polls, especially prior to Labor Day and the conventions. The important thing is that the incumbent President is still below 50%. And the race will be won in the battleground states, not nationally.

And there are events that could occur prior to November that could swing the election one way or another. The real campaign season starts tomorrow.

It is also the weekend bounce Obotulism always seems to get. It also shows why we must amputate this bozo Akin quick and go on the attack hard. The GOP super pac money will kick in this week after the convention and there is massive advantage they have. Obuggery will be carpet bombed from all sides. But will also need to clean up our own house too.

The Todd Akin effect

That may be a factor. Well... most of knew the trouble Akin would cause by remaining a festering sore rather than leaving.

I noticed in Rasmmussen polls that Obama does really well over weekends.. Alot of conservatives are out on weekends so it is probably harder to poll them..

Wow. This is the second weekend in a row we see these exact results. This is very surprising. Nothing, and I mean nothing in current events should lead to this weekly shift. It is either polling irregularities over the weekends, or an incurable level of ignorance.
