His dropping out is the first step toward putting up a pro-life conservative who has a chance. Akin is a dead man walking.

I will vote for Akin, along with the other 38% of the electorate who represent the core Rep voting block in this state and we will watch McCaskill wn another 6 year term.
If I was a Missouran, and if Akin was still on the ballot, he'd get my vote - and every other vote from the conservative base, and scarcely a single vote more - and McCaskill would win.
For one thing, Romney is leading, and hasn’t torpedoed his campaign by making some idiotic statement about women being able to shut down any conception during “legitimate rape”.
