Have so soon forgotten Sen. Larry Craig and his foot tapping in a public rest room in an airport trolling for sex in the stalls??????????????
He now by the way says what he was doing in that rest room was offical business and the charges against him should be expunged from his record.

No, the “foot tapping” incident was the first thing that came to mind when I read the story. But, Craig didn’t even do anything other than try and get some and that was all over the news. From the article it seems to me that Gauthier actually did engage in sexual conduct and with a minor to boot!! But, he is a Dem and nothing will come of this. Well, he may get a promotion, perhaps a position of some LGBT committee. This is a feather in his cap! LOL

At the time, people were saying that he was flying home from DC, and that Article I Section 6 of the Constitution protects Congressmen from arrest when traveling to and from Congress.

They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.

One could argue that being arrested for public indecency is a "Breach of the Peace."
