CNN Freaks Out Over Ryan Not Wearing a Tie, Forgets Obama Fails to Wear a Tie Often

Today during his VP acceptance speech on the USS Wisconsin, Paul Ryan didn't wear a tie. Big deal right? Well, to CNN's James Carville it was. Luckily, conservative Erick Erickson knew exactly how to respond.

Carville must have forgotten that President Obama fails to wear a tie on a regular basis.

“This is not the time to go wobbly,” Ryan said. “They (Democrats) are going to run these attack ads at us regardless. This is a time for leaders to be leaders. This is not a time for us to follow our fears, this is a time to lead because if we don’t address our countries fiscal problems we are going to have a debt crisis and the people who are going to get hurt the first and the worst are the people who need government the most, the elderly and the poor.”

Really, though. We have had to endure the onslaught of visuals of the Predident of the United States clad in shorts. We do not want to see the president’s legs. and in SANDALS. WE really do not want to see his toes. And we don’t want to see him eating ice cream. And we do not want to see his wife in sleeveless.

Ryan should have worn a tie.

They should refer to each other as Mr. Ryan Mr. Romney, Gov. or whatever. I don’t want to hear “Paul and I . . . “.

But Obie’s media should criticize HIM, not for a change but just for ONCE.

Ties are going the way of hats. JFK stopped wearing fedoras and America soon followed. President Ryan (2016) might stop wearing the tie, and it will be a great blessing to the men of America. If you think about it at all, it’s a pretty stupid article of clothing - like Elizabethan collars. Ryan is the future. No ties in Star Trek TOS. Think about it.
