Obama will blanket Tampa Bay TV during RNC
Tampa Bay Times ^

Politico: President Barack Obama will be at the Republican National Convention in Tampa later this month — on local TV, that is.

Obama's team plunked down more than $181,000 in ad time on Tampa-area network affiliates for the last week of August, to ensure that the president isn't completely out the spotlight when Mitt Romney is crowned as the GOP standard-bearer.

Tampa is a liberal rat’s nest.

Can’t understand why the Repubbies selected it.

Oh please.....I live in Tampa and I can't stand the guy. His ads are now running on TV in this are as it is and you're going to tell me there's going to be more campaign ads. UGH.....maybe I'll move temporarily elsewhere. By the way it looks good for Romney in this area. All the hotels in the area are booked and full. People are getting excited about the RNC coming to town.

Tampa proper, yes.

Brandon, Wesley Chapel, Lutz, Plant City, Temple Terrace and surrounding burbs are mixed if not right-of-center.

Tampa city council and the mayor are leftists. No arguments there, but to classify all of Tampa as liberal is disingenuous.

Those of us who live here are tuning out Obama en masse. The whole convention is going to seriously impact our day-to-day for over a week.

I spoke of Tampa proper, not its environs.

There is no question that democrat Tampa was a factor in putting Florida in the Obama column in 2008.

Another wast of Obama’s Money—Use up all those Movie Stars cash in this foolish attempt to keep his job. I believe that when the truth is out—he may well be sent to prison—But, that’s just me.

Tampa is liberal?

That sounds odd to someone based up here in the Northeast.

Use the parental control too. Obama ‘s ads are not suitable for children.

all the RNC needs to do in Tampa (home of USCENTCOM) is bring General Petreaus to the ticket, or at least to the party

No one in that media audience would give 2 rats about anthing Barry had to say

That's dumb. What metro city proper isn't chock full of liberals, outside of maybe Utah?

Tampa's environs, and the environs all the way along I-4, make up the biggest swing section of Florida. Where would you have put the convention?

National political conventions have to be held in BIG cities; Tampa is one of the smaller cities among them (and it’s in a swing state). Most others are considerably more liberal than Tampa: New York, San Francisco, Chicago, New Orleans, etc. Reagan was nominated in DETROIT !!!

psychological operations. really, that is all Obamugabe has left in the arsenal.

bad record on the economy,
laughing stock overseas,
“signature” accomplishment is highly unpopular,
so his only option is to try and bully and scare people.

he is getting help from some her on FR,
but he won’t get help from me.

i am all in for the republican nominee.
let’s win this,
repeal obamugabe care,
get the economy back on track,
and establish ourselves again as a leader in the world.

that is how i roll.
obamugabe is a failure, and i intend to make sure people know...he and romney are not the same.

I'll treat that thought as my personal lighthouse, until it happens.

Him and Slick, side-by-side in adjoining cells. (So they can annoy each other to death.)
