Obama camp denies knowledge of cancer tale it told in May
Yahoo News ^ | Aug. 8, 2012 | Olive Knox

Oops? President Barack Obama's re-election campaign washed its hands Wednesday of an independent group's vicious (and misleading) ad effectively blaming Mitt Romney for the death of a laid-off steelworker's wife from cancer. Campaign officials flatly denied any knowledge of the facts in the case—but it turns out the widower told the same story on an Obama campaign conference call in mid-May. (The Obama campaign responded late in the day: See update below).

Obama and his campaign lie with arrogance and impunity because they know the media will cover for them and there will be no consequences. Saying Obama killed US agents because of Fast and Furious has a much more direct link than Soptic’s allegations, but the corrupt DOJ will stonewall everything.

Oo, I’ll play:

Cassius Clay beat Sonny Liston in 1964 for the Heavyweight Championship of the World, but never won another title fight thereafter.

And Romney is too big of a wuss to go off on these scumbags.

Not just a wuss but Romney may simply not have the wherewithal...?
Like when he was ask about Chic-fil-a and he missed an incredibly EASY opportunity to say he supports free speech.
Or, it would have been easy for anyone who has a very basic understanding of how our system works.

And as the sexually active population gets STDs and then the cancer that typically follows the slowing population growth will produce fewer and fewer new productive members of society to pay taxes that support Obama’s cancer victims.

It is possible that they don’t remember. They have told so many lies that they cannot remember them all.

Maybe if they had decent jobs they could afford to buy their contraceptives...or is that just too harsh?

*****

Way to harsh. Don’t you know that we aren’t supposed to work. We have to sit home and wait til our gubment checks come in. Since those on welfare don’t pay taxes, just how the heck do these fools expect the gubment to run without money? Maybe that’s what they’re hoping for. No money, no America as we knew it. Just dependency.

The left will not even care if the details of this story are true or not. They fit the Left’s stereotype belief of Romney and Bain. That means that - even if THIS story is not true - they believe it represents dozens or hundreds of other similar cases which (in the Leftist minds) are no doubt are true.

“Fake, but accurate” - just like all of the other Obama stooge “archetype” stories.

Obama had to lie to get elected to his first term. Now again. Lying works in his community.

Very illuminating article here:
"4: If you look at the steel companies that went under at the time, all of them were unionized," he said. "I'm not saying this was the only factor -- these firms faced other headwinds such as cheap labor and a strong dollar ... but the unions held them back."

"5: For Joe Soptic, who worked at the plant for 28 years, that meant a loss of $283 per month, about 22 percent of his pension."

"6: After nearly 30 years as a steelworker, Joe Soptic found a job as a school custodian. The $24,000 salary was roughly one-third of his former pay"
...
#4 Seems strange. Unionized steel companies all went bankrupt when faced with increased foregin competition, but NOT non-unionized? Let's read below to see if we can solve the mystery.

Well let's see here. For #5, Joe Soptic, he lost $283/month in his pension, which was a 22% decrease. So, what was it before? 22% of x = $283, so x=a monthly pension of $1286. I checked what the AVERAGE pension was for private sector workers here: it's $641 (avg pension of $7692/year). So these guys are getting DOUBLE (!!) the pension of the average private-sector worker. Well how about their wages?

For #6: Joe was making $24k, which was 1/3 of his former pay. That means he was making $72,000 as a steelworker. How does that compare? I checked here at the BLS. Result? Supervisors at steel mills get $28/hr, about $44,000 / year. Really? These guys are making $72,000 a year when the HIGHEST PAID in the steel industry is $44,000 / year.

So, John Hawkins in his blog is railing on Romney as the bailout king. He should REALLY be THANKING Romney for trying to turn GS Technologies around and save the company, by working for 10 years with little to show for it, because HIGH UNION WAGES AND PENSIONS ballooned the company's debt levels and made them UN-prepared to face competition.

That should be the REAL story; that Bain, that actually made "an average annual return on investment of 88 percent between its founding in 1984 and the end of 1999" (88% return? Great job, Mitt!) tried to help out GS."

The media wil lie for them, make this go away and we have millions of dopes which think this is the truth.

The damage is done and Romney and the elitist GOP will not sue, go to court over this, go after their illegal activity for working with a super PAC.

yep 2008 all over again, we play defense and they just atack us all the time with lies.
