Democratic Party Faces Lawsuit Over Clayton Nomination (TN)

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The Democratic Party is vowing to fix the candidate review process that allowed Mark Clayton to become the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate.

The promise came after one of the candidates who lost to Clayton promised to sue the party.

Democrat Larry Crim, who finished fourth in last week's primary, says party leaders should have researched Mark Clayton and kept him off the ballot.

"Mr. Forrester did not do his duty to screen this democratic candidate," Larry Crim said.

Crim blames party chairman Chip Forrester for the embarrassing mess.

A letter from state Coordinator of Elections, Mark Goins, to Larry Crim states "Although Chip Forrester had the authority in April to disqualify Mr. Clayton, he did not do so."

It’s good to see socialism slowly tearing at the seams....as in the EU....so also in the US.

It had to happen. They’ve been working in stealth for a long time so people wouldn’t realize what was happening. When Obamarx was elected, they thought it was safe to be open about their agenda. They didn’t count on so many Americans not wanting anything to do with it; not being brainwashed.

The dems are getting more desperate by the day and in their desperation, they’re saying and doing things that are ticking off everyone - including their base.

My concern is that if socialists ascertain that this was their shinning moment and lost, being there no grace to their ideology of darkness, they will go with a scorched earth plan.

However, if they think that they can get one more shot at it, they will feign grace to try an position themselves for another go at it.

It will be up to us, and like minded people, to make sure that socialism in America is choked at the roots.

I worry about them going with a scorched earth plan. I’m seeing more and more of the lefty new sources turning against them these days; turning against Obama especially. That increases their desperation and could turn them into a cornered tiger.

One good weapon we have is information and I’ve been an “info warrior” for a few years now. FR has been a great source to draw from to email info to others so they know what’s really going on. I know others here do the same.
And the TEA Party movement has opened the eyes of some of the older, more conservative Dems.

We’ve got our work cut out for us between now and Nov., no doubt, but I’m beginning to have more hope for success as time goes on.
