GLASGOW, Scotland, August 2, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The director of the Scottish Catholic Media Office has defended statements made by Archbishop-elect of Glasgow Philip Tartaglia. In which he argued that society has been silent when it comes to the health risks and dangers of the homosexual lifestyle.
“There is a link between same-sex sexual practice and early death,” said Peter Kearney, director of the Scottish Catholic Media Office, to STV’s Rona Dougall on Scotland Tonight last Sunday. “And that’s not something that the Catholic Church simply ‘believes’, there is an overwhelming body of medical evidence to suggest that.”

Archbishop-elect Tartaglia was internationally scrutinized last week after The Scotsman accused him of having made “hurtful” and “ill-informed” remarks about the death of an openly homosexual Labor MP and former Catholic priest during at Oxford. Tartaglia was delivering a speech on the topic of threats to religious freedom caused by the Scottish government’s latest push for same-sex ‘marriage’.
At that time, Tartaglia, responding to a question from the audience, said: “If what I have heard is true about the relationship between the physical and mental health of gay men… then society is being very quiet about it.”
“Recently in Scotland,” he continued, “there was a gay Catholic MP who died at the age of 44 or so, and nobody said anything, and why his body should just shut down at that age? Obviously he could have had a disease that would have killed anybody. But you seem to hear so many stories about this kind of thing, but society won’t address it.”

Facts don’ t matter. But the sheer number of gays in show business who die early is testimony to the unhealthiness of the life style. And it is not limited to homosexuals. The libertine often dies young because he abuses his body. Just look at the case of Earl Flynn and as far as I know he was not a homosexual.

Wasn’t it amazing that we are not allowed to say that AIDS is a gay-disease even those the WHO says every year that 60% of the new adult male victims are homosexuals.
He's right - it's not a healthy lifestyle. What's even more difficult is having liberals lecture us on white bread, sugar, smoking, being 20 pounds overweight... big gulps, french fries etc. All of those things - even together are not as unhealthy as the gay lifestyle...
Freedom of religion cannot coexist with the sodomites, and America is going to have to choose. It’s quite clear the homosexualists will not tolerate any dissent. If one doesn’t agree that sodomy is perfectly normal (if not laudable), then they must be silenced.
The left sees LGBT issues as the new civil rights movement. Precedents set during the civil rights era give government broad latitude to eliminate discrimination, private property rights and the freedom of religion notwithstanding. For example, a restaurant couldn’t refuse to serve blacks. In the case of race, an immutable genetic property, extraordinary measures to eliminate discrimination were possibly justified, but the problem would have likely been eliminated in time without the heavy hand of government.
Now that we’ve tossed private property rights and freedom of religion (when we don’t agree with the views expressed), we’ve opened a can of worms. Have no doubt the homosexualists want to do the same thing in their cause to normalize perversion. Do you know I could be fined or jailed in some countries for even declaring what they do to be perverse?
The homosexualists, if they allow any dissent at all, will only allow one to believe what they want in private so long as all anti-homosexual thought is purged from public society. That’s their end game.
Even stranger than the leftist health nuts who praise homosexuality (a very high risk behavior) are the military leaders who go on and on about maintaining high levels of fitness while do everything they can to enlist homosexuals. You also have those who complain about paying for health care for those who drink too much soda or smoke cigarettes but apparently have no problem whatsoever ponying up whatever tax monies are necessary to treat AIDS everywhere (for example the Bush billions for AIDS in Africa and Obamacare).
And, according to the Bible - fraught with the promise of God to be rewarded (probably with AIDS as 'recompense'.)

All true! And doctors are threatened with loss of license if they dare to speak the truth. I had a link but can’t find it right now, that reported on that, but it is kept quite secret. Disgraceful to say the least! I have been saying for years that all this wellness stuff was so hypocritical the even teens who are told not to smoke see it, and don’t believe anything they say because of it.

And it isn’t just that you can’t say it is unhealthy - now you can’t say it is any different than real marriage.
Pretty soon they will start suing the churches.
I figured this out myself in my early 20’s. Lived in NY and DC, and met many gay men through work, friends of friends, etc.... 90% had deep psychological problems.
Besides the unbounded sexual appetite, and risk-taking, I saw suicide attempts, drug and alcohol addiction, gay-on-gay violence, depression, mania. Above all, many seemed deeply unhappy, which fueled a cycle of the aforementioned problems.
Why, just because sodomy stretches the sphincter muscles out so that they won’t close? Why homosexuals are called “poofs,” because of the sound their farts are limited to, since they can no longer make a proper raspberry.
A truism is that every one above 0-5 is a careerist/politician.
The failure to publicize the articles concerning gay behavior and medical dangers by Dr. Riggs is a crime. I would think the NYT and other major news outlets have
an obligation to expose the deadly risks gays face.
Maybe the gays themselves are unaware of the destructive hazards they face. They are literaly playing russian roulette with one blank.** The failure to hide Dr. Riggs’ prognosis from the public is criminal and to gays is cruel. Go read it and see if I am exaggerating.

Also, gays get the AIDS virus and instantly they're on Social Security Disability. I'm not saying some gays are chasing the bug to get a lifetime of payments...
