LAS VEGAS — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid again deflected questions Monday about releasing his tax returns, even as he continued to pound the demand for Mitt Romney to make more of his own public.
Instead, Reid pointed to the financial disclosure forms he files as a member of Congress, which provide different information.
“I’m a member of Congress now, I don’t make too much money,” said Reid, whose net worth was estimated at $10 million in 2010. “But it’s all listed every year.”
Reid spokesman Adam Jentleson told POLITICO last week that the majority leader will not release his tax returns, writing: “He’s not running for president. … He has of course released more than 30 years of detailed [personal finance disclosures]. There is exponentially more information available to the public about Sen. Reid’s financial life than there is about Mitt Romney’s.”
Conservatives have begun accusing Reid of hypocrisy for his attacks on Romney. And the Las Vegas Review-Journal — in a somewhat different context — on Monday resurrected a 1974 statement in which Reid said: “Any man or woman who will not be completely candid about his or her finances does not deserve to be in public office.”

Personally, I like the fact that Mitt is ignoring Harry and keeping hte focus on the economy. He knows that no matter what he releases the media will use highlight a different line everyday to keep the focus off of Obama.

A well-placed source who I won’t name told me that Reid claimed deductions for kiddie-porn website subscriptions for the past 10 years.
I think Harry needs to release those returns to prove it’s not true.

Worse yet since there are so many credible sources with knowledge of Harry Reid’s pedophilia what exactly are in those returns? I’ve heard he used campaign cash to hush up the little boys he molested families. These are very serious allegations and Harry Reid needs to prove his in innocence.
Also what did the obama administration know about Harry’s little boy problem and when did they know it. After all according to the new rules it’s not the validity of the accusations that matter it’s their seriousness .....and these are very serious allegations.

Is Harry Reid still around? I would have thought that the reports about his orgies at Jerry Sandusky’s house would have driven him underground by now.
Now, I’m not sure if those rumors are true, but if they aren’t, Reid needs to provide evidence that he’s not keeping a cage full of underage illegal boys in his basement for sex and cannibalism purposes.

I couldn’t care less about Reed’s (sic) tax returns. I DEMAND Reed (sic) release ALL his phone records to prove, now that the word is out, that he is not a child molester.
Given that Reid is turning into a bit of a joke in Congress over these totally ridiculous allegations, it’s good reason why Romney is ignoring Reid’s recent rants.

I think precisely because Romney has refused to bend is why Reid is having hard time. The Dems are used to everyone bending to their demands. This is new.
But in 2 years of released returns, Romney’s returns show he paid more in taxes than General Electric did as an entire corporation.
8.2 million paid in just federal taxes the past 2 years by Romney-42% of his income in 2011 went to taxes and charities...let’s see Hairy Reed’s .

Reid should release his Senate budgets.
