Obama aides say president now has personal 'genuine disdain' for Romney

For President Barack Obama, it’s now personal.

A new book cites Obama aides saying the president has a “genuine disdain” for Mitt Romney.

“One factor made the 2012 grind bearable and at times even fun for Obama: he began campaign preparations feeling neutral about Romney, but like the former governor’s GOP opponents in 2008 and 2012, he quickly developed a genuine disdain for the man,” author Glenn Thrush writes in the soon-to-be released e-book “Obama’s Last Stand.”

Thrush — a reporter for Politico, which published book excerpts Sunday – writes that Obama’s feelings for Romney are different from how he personally felt about other Republican opponents on the Hill, and about other campaign rivals in the past.

“Obama, a person close to him told me, didn’t even feel this strongly about conservative, combative House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, the Hill Republican he disliked the most,” Thrush writes. “At least Cantor stood for something, he’d say.”

....add “sober”, too. Whatever you can say about Romney, he’s not a drunk.

Nor was he a "Choomer":

Obama will sue the USA for discrimination if he looses.
And will fight to stay in his current Government housing.

BS. Obama hates any one who opposes him. He doesn't like to be challenged or have his feelings hurt.

Obama is a prick. He displays such behavior more than any other president in my lifetime.

“Personal, genuine distain?”

Does he not see how the manjority of American people DISTAIN him? What an ass hat.

The only real thing I now have doubts about is what Obummer will do when he is defeated in November. He will have a few months to create even more devistation to this once great nation and people. He needs to be removed IMMEDIATELY, be it before or after the election.

This is actually good. He'll let his emotions get the better of him and he'll make it personal. This will bring a potential meltdown. Buy popcorn.

They just made it OK to HATE.

I want you to really think about that idea. We talk about it all the time these days. But, what does it really mean when a supposed leader comes to ‘HATE,’ another human being?

Hate, and learning to hate, dehumanizes. This creates an atmosphere where no assault is unthinkable.

Romney is now in very real danger and so are his supporters. The stage is set for the escalation of hate and its accompanying violence under the leadership of the 0bama regime.

Pray for our Nation...stop and say a very real prayer...the hour of our reckoning is nearly upon us.

I think you’re right - anything to tug at that “cool” curtain that 0bama won with in 2008.

I personally think 0bama’s disdain comes from the attitude of “how dare anyone challenge me”.

Good call. Apparently, Michelle and Barry aren't all that fond of rich white people and Romney is the poster boy for the stereotype.

Someone on Romney's team will have to show him how, but he can definitely use that to his advantage. From what I've read about obama, he sounds easy to unhinge.

I think so, too. I believe he's had a lifetime of hearing how 'intellectual' and 'special' he is. He doesn't know how to react to anyone who disagrees with him or doesn't recognize his greatness. Couple that with Romney's success and his 'whiteness' and Obama becomes a powder keg.

As long as Romney can entice and then stay above the fray, he can cause Obama to bring himself down.

“At least Cantor stood for something, he’d say.”

Although i hope Romney wins, this is probably an accurate assessment. Obama stands for all the wrong things though and so i'd rather have Romney who at least can be pressured to govern from the right if he wants to win re-election.

The way i see is that Romney will be a very competent president, and there is a lot to be said for that, but in order to fundamentally shift the country away from the radical leftward tilt the Tea Party will need to continue to remain strong. That's the key. If Romney wins and the Tea Party withers away because people think everything will be fine with Obama out of office, then we'll still be sinking from the port side but just not as quickly as before.

I hope Mr. Post-partisan gives full vent to his disdain in the debates. He might confer with Al Gore for tips.

I actually think Obama hates Romney because he looks at him and sees the polar opposite of that drunk Kenyan who abandoned he and his mammy.

Romney is the uber Capitalist. White and handsome and born to privilege...that went on to be even more successful than his “boot straps” father. The American dream on steroids.

Disdain? No, hatred.

Are you sh*tting me? Gibbs is talking about Obama in that quote? The only reason he hangs with “jocks” is for a little Dow Low activity.

His former “body man”/assistant Reggie Love was indeed a former jock from Duke Univ. And, yes they quite often played “pick up” basket ball during “stressful” times. He also, according to Obama’s Secret Service detail, used to stop by Reggies apartment in the morning for a “training session”. Funny, these only lasted 10-15 mintues.

Obama is a fraud for so many reasons, but what really gets me is this “best husband evah!” the low lifes in the MSM portray him to be...at every opportunity.

Ask any gay man over 35 in Chi if they remember Obama in the 90’s at the gay bath houses. They all do. Disgusting POS the media is covering for. That’s going to come to an end soon.

I think Mr. Obama’s “falling apart” began in earnest in Roanoke with the going off the prompter and ranting “You didn’t build that”....

Expect things to REALLY start caving in, in his fragile little personality disorered mind when Romney and his 1 billion war chest is loosed on him.

All the books now out this week along with that new film 2016 are going to torment Mr. Obama—as he knows the the truth of HIM is what will destroy him—And he will reveal himself over and over in the coming 90 days.

The vids of these freak-outs are going to be comedy gold!
