How is it officially confirmed? This is just the “first wave” of announcements. Left out are some people who will obviously be there, such as Christie and Rubio.

Netflix and channel surfing will see tremendous gains.

I will watch Gov. Martinez, because I am not familiar with her. As for McCain, Huckabee, Rice, et al., I wouldn’t waste the time.

Gingrich, Palin and Cain need to speak.

if they don't, we need to turn the convention into a Conservative equivalent of '68 DNC in Chicago.

God, these people are so friggin STUPID

No Scott Walker, No Gingrich, No Cain,

Wow, this is a terrible lineup.

What about Trey Gowdy? Now that guy can fire up some people.

What about Mike Kelly?

I am sure that EVERY speaker has endorsed the GOP’s candidate for president.

If Palin has decided not to endorse in this presidential race, can you blame the GOP for filling her spot with someone who IS on the team?

Every speaker is going to say something like this: “.... so join me in helping to elect ______ President of the United States!”

If Palin can’t do better than “... help me to elect Anybody But Obama!” then why would the GOP want her to speak?

(If you were running for office, would you let someone speak at your banquet who has not endorsed you?)

Hopefully by 2016 the TEA Party will know better and run a parallel convention. It would be conservative nirvana where the real business takes place.

Surprised that Lindsay Grahamnesty is not on the list.

He'll be there, you just won't see him crouched down in the lectern when McLame is speaking. Hey Laz, did you not recognize the half a loaf they were throwing to the Tea Party with Martinez, Scott and Haley?

The more they try to marginalize Palin the stronger she becomes.

She will be in town, but is too savvy to crash the convention.

But will draw some of the media attention away from the RINO love fest.

Wow, this is a terrible lineup.

The 2008 lineup had at least 30 speakers. Based on that, this list is only 25% of who will be speaking. I'm thinking they are saving the best for last!

Seriously, if you were a candidate for public office would YOU invite someone to speak at your event if they refused to endorse you?

True...Palin has yet to endorse the GOP candidate...not sure why she would get a slot at this point.

“Conservative gop activists” Carolyn Kennedy, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Michael Moore, Chris Matthews and Bob Beckel will headline the gop convention in Tampa... and then the progressive wing of the gop will be heard from.

If the Republican Party understands the significance of and the power behind the American People’s rejection of the party of the left, they will reaffirm their allegiance to our Constitution, our Declaration of Independence and our way of life at the national convention.

And then they should come out swinging at the leftists who are taking increasingly bigger, bolder steps away from the Constitution.

Does not Priebus and his friends recognize the Democrats are unceasingly moving US towards a method of government they still send our military halfway around the world to battle?

Stupid like a den of foxes.

Since everyone knows that the dims have become a communist party... preibus is working on turning the gop into a progressive socialist party (the old dim party) and thinks that they can win by turning those dim progressives that think the dim party has moved too far to the left... into gop voters. They do not care about Conservatives... as long as we STFU and do exactly as the overlords in the gop order us to do.

My short list of convention speakers would include Rick Santorum, Clint Eastwood, Sarah Palin, Herman Cain, Newt Ginrich, Dennis Miller, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan and Michelle Bachman.

So they have decided to play the “me too” game by including, ‘first” gender/race” in the bios. Guess we can probably look forward to Lindsey Graham too then. And, do we have someone in a wheel chair who could speak? We got the “old” and “young” boxes checked off.
