President Obamas reelection got a boost Friday from the best monthly jobs report on the U.S. economy since February, something that gave his campaign team more fuel in making their argument that the economy is making steady progress.
While the good news was coupled with an uptick in the unemployment rate to 8.3 percent, analysts predicted that if the job numbershowever murkyare maintained over the next several months, Obama is likely to win reelection in November against his opponent Mitt Romney.

No kidding! And I’ll believe that if and when I see ANY improvement.
For attempting to put a positive spin on another bit of disastrous news for Obama, this ranks up there with what I heard some CNN character say today - that all Obama has to have is 105k new jobs created in each of the next three months of job reports and he’ll have us back to the number of jobs in the country that we had when he took office - “and that won’t be hard to do” - so now we’re supposed to be happy and impressed that we’re back to exactly where we were four years and five trillion dollars ago.........
