So the Dinger’s been released and several sources say that Kenseth will drive the #20 next year but Gibbs hopes to re-sign Logano. Vickers & Newman (would Tony let him go?) are mentioned for the #22 next year. Gotta check the weather for Pocono. It seems like it always rains during the race there.

I can neither confirm or deny that a remuneration of some sort may explain how the heck umgub beats ya .. for a small donation to FR, you can fund a study. :-]

I had one of them stress thingy’s a few months ago, they shut it down after a few minutes.. all pipes were flowing full bore.. Good luck!

I think it is Jr's turn to win again after he broke his long streak without a win. He is on a roll.

Ugh. 60% chance of thundershowers.

I assumed that Newman would keep the Army contract since the House of Representatives defeated the bill mandating the slashing of military advertising monies. Perhaps thats not the case. Tony and Newman are buds but buds are buds and business is business. Vickers has raced well in his limited starts and Michael Waltrip should grab him if Mark Martin isn’t planning on racing next year.

Pls keep the earthquakes down next week as the wife is heading to La-La land for a one day seminar (Disney Institute) and two days of shopping. I’d go too but I’d have to pay for one day - $600.00 (Disneyland Hotel) and even though you get a wake-up call from Mickey Mouse I’ll keep the cheese in my pocket.

Went to a CRA/ARCA last model show last week at Indianapolis Raceway Park (aka Lucas Oil Raceway).

Half the starting field was under 21.

A 14 yr old won the race, of course he already has 8 years of competition under his belt - karts, quarter midgets, etc.

They lifted the burning ban/BBQ ban so I was going to cook out, but chose instead to swing by Chick Fil-A and got a take-out catering platter of 24 chicken strips with buffalo sauce. The workers were as nice as you could ask for. The woman cleaning the glass on the front door opened the door for us and said “God bless” as we went in. The drive through line was backed up about 8 cars and inside was moderately busy for 4:00 in the afternoon.

I’m kicking myself actually. Had Hamlin in the line up but replaced him w/Kenseth after Denny’s practice speeds. Excessive micro-managing on my part; I knew of the 11’s stellar record at Pocono & will see how it all shakes out.

We’re getting the clouds and storms today that ya’ll sent from down your way. Hit 91 yesterday and if I had corn growing I’da had the mister on it. Church & nap. Will put some extra time on the DVR in case of a rain delay.

We had a surprise rain here this morning from a fast moving front out of the south. Lady Bender caught some druggie trying to break into my pickup this morning but he was gone when the PD showed up. I would have shot the SoB with my Canon camera...
