Posted on 08/03/2012 6:04:01 PM PDT by tobyhill
A kiss-in at the Chick-fil-A on Central Expressway near Lovers Lane in Dallas on Friday afternoon did not seem to keep chicken lovers away.
Supporters of same-sex marriage are planning demonstrations in response to Wednesday's "Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day." Facebook postings by organizers call for people to stage "kiss-ins" at Chick-fil-A restaurants at 7 p.m. Friday night.
Hundreds of thousands of Texans jammed Chick-fil-As to show support for the company's president, who said in an interview that the company was "guilty as charged" for backing "the biblical definition of a family."
The kiss-in at the Central Expressway Chick-fil-A began at about noon lasted until about 5 p.m.
Around a dozen demonstrators were equipped with mouthwash, breath freshener and posters, but there was hardly any kissing.
At lunchtime Friday, half a dozen Dallas police officers were at the Central Expressway store and ordered demonstrators to stay off the restaurant property.

I knew it. Tens of people inundated CFLa to protest. It’s a national epidemic!!
Well, I’ve been here at the Irving, TX Chick-Fil-A for most of this hour.
No protestors, no kissing, just a bunch of families eating dinner.
If 12 protestors was all that could be mounted at the CFA closest to the ‘gay’ part of town, they’re in trouble.
King James Version (KJV)
5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him,
Where are the men which came in to thee this night?
bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
Also, my chargrilled chicken club sandwich was delicious as usual. CFA is a lot more than just *fried* chicken. It is also a shame that I cannot take this delicious lemonade with me on my motorcycle.
It’s all about sex for the homofascists. Everything about their lives revolves around who they kiss and where they put their private parts.
Can you imagine a bunch of heterosexuals kissing in front of a homosexual bar in protest?
Here in L.A of course our homo loving media couldn’t wait to have this “protest” as their top story(They hardly even mentioned the Appreciation Day event on Wednesday) WOW the gays came out in force today, I noticed on TV, TEN, yes TEN people protesting outside the Chick-Fil-A..WOW what a protest
“Around a dozen demonstrators were equipped with mouthwash, breath freshener and posters, but there was hardly any kissing.”
What, no condoms? LOL
Also, before some idiot DUer pops up with a “I bet all the families are white” comment, it’s very mixed. Several black and latino families along with a few Asian in addition to the slight majority of white folks.
(P.S.; I am not white and I feel quite welcomed in CFA.)
Did nbc even bother to cover yesterday’s massive show of support?
There are a few points to be made, but overall, and Im far from the first to say it, if the puublic sat and thought what homosexuality was and entailed, there would be almost no support for it.
Take away the sex and you have two really close friends.
People have to stop shying away from the reality of what makes a homosexual a homosexual-the sex. Its not a forlorn multicolored-hair emo kid texting his boyfriend. Its not two women at a cafe overlooking the ocean sunset sharing a coffee. Its not two male model types with the top down cruising PCH.
Its a deadly choice that involves a lot of repulsive sex acts.
And what other 2% gets special rights based on the sex they have? BDSM? Foot fetishists? Theres plenty of straights with sexual kinks outside straight missionary sex. None of them demand special rights and tax breaks for it.
Nor does it often result in their death.
Lastly, homos need to publicly be made to explain the whole chickenhawk thing. Let them shove THAT in the face of the public and see how much support they get.
Here in Phoenix the news covered them at 5 and at 6. The “crowd” grew from around a dozen to almost 30. Some of the group were even uniformed Phoenix Police officers! There is a sweet group of supporters, middle aged grays, just down the sidewalk from them holding some signs of their own.
I wish we had one in our area, but the closest is over an hour away. And not where we would normally go.
nah .. mouthwash for sure with all the semen breath that was being exhaled.
” At lunchtime Friday, half a dozen Dallas police officers were at the Central Expressway store and ordered demonstrators to stay off the restaurant property.
The kiss-in was staged in a shaded, alley area behind the restaurant, where it had little effect on business.”
Good for CFA to keep their gross ***es off restaurant property
LOL I bet they felt right at home in the alley
Who’ll get all the MSM coverage?
12 kissy-faced homos “protesting” CFA?
Or hundreds of thousands of healthy, normal people supporting CFA for their support of God, families and normalcy?
An excellent example of empirical evidence.
On the one hand you have CFA being able to show that their sales for the day of the "eat in" were record breaking.
On the other hand you have...a few pictures and hype.
Hand out a flyer with the e-mail addresses of their bosses?
re: “At lunchtime Friday, half a dozen Dallas police officers were at the Central Expressway store and ordered demonstrators to stay off the restaurant property.”
Good for the Dallas police chief and the Dallas police department. I’m somewhat surprised, but then again - it’s Texas where America and the Constitution are still revered! Kudos to Texas and the Dallas Police Department!
Which is an excellent idea right up until you have to clean the residue out of it. That’s a huge PITA to get that clean again - CFA lemonade dries sticky.
I took the family to a local CFA (Gilbert, AZ) for an early dinner and to show our support for this fine company. I didn’t want the sodomites keeping away customers. But there weren’t any reprobates protesting, kissing, whatever—none in the restaurant and none through the drivethru as far as I could tell.
They were called queers before the MSM renamed them.
TV news in Tampa that ignored or degraded Wednesday’s event covered 6 sign wavers today and reported that was against CFA’s “anti-gay policies”.
Maybe several people could stand in front of the kissing queers and have a fart-in.
There were less than 10 at the corner of 300 and loop 281 in Longview abut two hours ago.
Nobody was kissing. Nobody looked particularly kissable, either.
The staff seemed a bit on guard; but they busted out laughing when I commented that if each customer bought one item and gave it to the protestors, the protestors would eat for days. The customers in the store were about triple the number of protestors. The drive through kept moving briskly, but always had at least three cars waiting to order.
What do you do when you support traditional marriage but think Chik-fil-A sandwiches are dry, flavorless, and over-priced?
Here.. buy one of these..
If they won’t fill it for you, just dump the cup they give you in it. :)
No. It's weird just thinking about it...
***mouthwash, breath freshener...***
Probably to hide the taste of fecal mater and other things from last night’s tryst.
***They were called queers before the MSM renamed them. ***
True. Let’s just call them Sodomites. That way everyone knows what you are talking about.
The media loved it cause they love watching them kiss. They are all homos themselves.
Their food is just ok in my opinion. Pretty much all fast food is overpriced these days. Inflation as I see it. I had a medium sandwich, chips, drink and a cookie at Quiznos for over $10.00. I could make about 4-5 of those at home for the same price.
Hard to use that on the roll with a full face helmet. :P Nice thought, though.
Complain to management about the quality of the food. They listen.
Get a coffee or milk shake in the mean time.
Some hose perhaps? do it up nascar style :)
Just watched our local news coverage on the “kiss in” and they couldn’t have been more vague...
They showed one “couple” making a quick smooch and they both seemed to feel as stupid as they looked. The news didn’t say where this was or what the turn out seemed to be at any of the local CFAs...
Unlike the visuals of Wed.
Do they really think we are that stupid?
As so many have pointed out - people for CFA fill every store, gays get 10 people to one per city x 10 cities. The real problem is that msot people, over 15, think that 25% of America is gay not 2% - the CFA protest prove the “media” gets the data wrong by a lot.
Why the mouthwash? Their cocks don’t care...
Central Expressway...has to be the closest to Oak Lawn (Dallas “gay” district). Still, not a hefty turnout, and closely resembles the OWS under 30 set basement dwellers. Typical liberals, so incredibly stupid by generously handing free advertising to the very establishments they say are the “haters”. For the love of Pete, I am loathing that term “hater”...translation, one who disagrees. I long to travel in the way back machine of 1950’s where civility, shame, etc. exists. God help us all survive this nonsense.
Actually, the one over by SMU is closer to Oak Lawn. But then they would be dealing with UP cops instead of Dallas cops. And that could get unpleasant.
Order the “southwest grilled chicken” salad. Very tasty. And not dry at all. Hope this helps.
Same here. I thought so too.Didn’t know it was only 2%.
The one by SMU wouldn’t be used by protestors to start, yeah. But the one on Central is maybe a mile away.
To be fair, many if not most gays actually supported the Wednesday demonstration, from all reports. They feel that free speech > ‘support for gay marriage’ in the priorities list.
There were several all gay groups in the DFW area that I know of who made a point of joining everyone else in line on Wednesday - not to protest CFA but to say they supported their 1st Amendment rights. Also to get a good meal.
Hard to have a problem with such folks’ priorities.
