Of course, Wed. was a natural upswelling, an almost historic event. This was a blip, a flash in the pan. They’re not fooling anyone. I really have come to loathe them in a way I didn’t before.
Me thinks if there was any "flooding", it was because Serge called all his faaaahbUUloth freindth to meet and greet him at a central CFA. Then Serge called his "partner" Rex, who works at the local TV station (as a hair and makeup "person"), to get Rex's coworker/journalist over to cover the "story".
I think Chrissy Matthews had a tingle go down his leg.
My wife took the kids up to the Burlington, MA Chick-Fil-A for lunch today. She said they arrived after normal lunch hours, there were no protesters and there were a good number of non-busy hour customers.
As few kissers as there might have been, Chick Fil A’s gross receipts probably went up ANOTHER 10% for the week.
The opposition is SO stupid, they just don’t see that they are FREE ADVERTISING for Chick Fil A.
The media is working overtime on this one. They managed to photo every single protester in the country.

I went to the Chick-fil-A in Cumming, GA for lunch. Same thing. Plenty of customers, none of them kissing each other.
The “flooding” was probably the organizers, seeing how poor the turnout was going to be, singled out one CFA for them ALL to “protest”
Then called the pandering media to the chosen location

Dumb. Yeah, also when they are saying they want to be married, they are really saying they want to participate in a male-female relationship which is legally open to every man and women. Though of course, they want a marriage or a male-female relationship that is gay, which means they want happy and carefree male-female relationship. The definition of marriage for millenniums has been that of a male-female relationship. Anything else is not marriage and deserves a name of its own.
At least most of the comments at the site are spot on, and ridicule the “kiss-in”.
On the one hand you have CFA being able to show that their sales for the day of the "eat in" were record breaking.
On the other hand you have...a few pictures and hype.

Today, the place is desolate. I saw a couple of old people go in, but that's about all.
The homo orgy and bath house appreciation day was a flop.
( Why bother reporting on it at all? More people, no doubt, showed up at McDonalds for the Mushroom snap wrap today during the lunch rush! Why aren't they reporting on that? It's more news worthy, because more people would care.)

I read that the “kiss-in” was supposed to start at 6:00 pm. Yeah, sure, right. That maybe supper time, but it's also the hottest part of the day. I can't wait for the 10:00 news. I predict a colossal flop.
Conversely, the “buycott” folks stood out in the heat nearly all day to make a statement (or drove thru risking car over heating.)

Same thing in Cedar Park, Tx. I wanted to stop and grab lunch there while running an errand, but the line was out the door, drive thru was around the building and not one queer protester in sight. I was pressed for time, so I came home and had a bite. Of course, that is Williamson county.

Stopped in at my local CFA a little bit after 11 AM. No protesters in sight. Drive through was VERY busy. I went inside and it wasn’t quite as busy as the drive through, but business was good. Cheerful young man took my order, they called out my name when it was ready and it was oh so tasty!
Today’s Oxnard CFA lunch report: Parking was a pain, lines out the door, one (local) TV camera and reporterette and nary a butt dart afficianado or carpet muncher to be seen. Store manager asked everyone in line (while handing out coupons) if they had been to CFA before. At least half including your truly were first timers. Spicy chicken deluxe....mmmmmmmmmm!!!!
But to the media a national total of a few dozen leftists is much bigger news than hundreds of thousands of normal mainstream Americans.

Went to two of them today, Bluffton SC and Savannah GA (Mall). No kissing queers ... but darned large crowds. I thought the “appreciation” day was over ... what’s this? Maybe those folks liked the Chicken on Wednesday and came back for more? (I did, for breakfast and for lunch).

Yes. Indeed, he should. And the sooner the better. He is the wrong candidate to be running against Obama in 2012. Something more profound and passionate was needed at so historic and somber a juncture.
Yes, it goes back to all that silly ACT UP stuff - it is all out of synch with the moment. Really inferior showing by the gays, in every way. They have no class, and Wednesday had something natural and robust about it that today was sorely lacking in. They really look like they’re meant to fade now from the cultural landscape.
