I've used this phrase for about a year and now Rush Limbaugh has said it to millions: Barack Obama is economically illiterate.
Rush is totally correct about this. Every time Obama speaks he displays his ignorance about economics. He either doesn't get it or refuses to understand it.
But I expect Rush is going to get the worst blowback about this since he called Sandra Fluke a slut. Calling a black man illiterate is going to get the libs in a dither.

There will be no “racism” blowback over what Rush said. Media power to generate outrage about criticizing The Disaster is severely reduced.

Rush is precisely wrong on this. Describing Obama as economically illiterate suggests that if only Obama were not so stupid and understood the error of his ways, he would alter course. Obama understands exactly what he is doing, understands the damage that it is doing to the economy, and is choosing to do it anyway. He is fundamentally an ideologically driven collectivist who does not care if the overall economy suffers. What he cares about is redistribution and making everyone as equal as possible - that is equal outcome rather than equal opportunity.

The truth is that if Obama had any economic intelligence and sought to articulate it, he couldn’t get elected. He desires an economic system where government rules over all and selects the winners and losers based on their own standards and biases.

Seriously, why would we expect a communist to know a capitalist economy? That’s exactly why he’s trying to change us away from capitalism.
