My daughter has been using up a bunch of gas driving to her summer job at Chick-fil-A (20 minutes away). So I needed to get gas this morning & decided to hit CFA first thing.
This was my first CFA breakfast. Spicy chicken and biscuit w/ hash browns. Excellent biscuit & the juicy, spicy chicken was almost to hot to eat right away. Kinda wish I had bought 2 sandwiches.
My wife & I are planning to go there for lunch around 1pm.
Eggs is chickin too! Eat more chickin!

Yes, it's a small gesture. But as General Nathan Bedford Forrest once said, "Get 'em skeered and then keep up the skeer." Most often the battle turns on a myriad of small actions rather than a decisive move. And it's not an "either/or" proposition. Just because we fight the little battle today doesn't mean we won't fight the big one tomorrow.

Same here. We ate at a Chick-Fil-A last May while visiting Easly S.C. and it was great. Since I’m home and not a CFA nearer than 80 miles, ordered stuff like you did...
Frankly, I’d rather eat there again.
I’m going and buying shakes for the office.

I wouldn’t be suprised if Chik-Fil-A posts their receipts from today and it shows an increase of X%.
The libs heads will explode. What will make it even worse for politicians is knowing the same people that increased Chik’s sales could also boycott something.
Imagine what would happen if people started boycotting McDonalds. That would result in thousands of jobs lost, plus they could blame the Obama’s because of Moochell’s policies about fast food.
I’ll be headed to the range today and will be stopping by CFA on my way. Nice, guns and CFA in one day!
I’m going to stop by today; if I’m not hungry, I’ll buy a gift card. I’ve also reminded family and friends to do so.
No Chik Fil A by me either, so I also ordered some merchandise. (T-shirt, cap, plush cow and travel mug)

Stopped and bought breakfast for the office this morning. I fed 23 people!
BTW the line was 3 times as long as it was normally. Crazy long and I saw ZERO protesters!!!

My wife called me from the drive-thru line at our local Chick-Fil-A. She said the line extends out the parking lot and down the street. She’s never seen a line so long at any fast-food restaurant.
Perhaps, espousing traditional marriage is actually a great business move. Duh!
We Orthodox Christians have the Dormition Fast until after Aug. 15th. I intend to go to our nearest Chick-Fil-A (which is not all that nearby) soon thereafter, but not today.
But I support Chick-Fil-A—and all my Christian Brothers and Sisters—100%!!!!
I prefer the char-grilled chicken to the fried ... you'll want to avoid the "Chicken Club Sandwich", though. ;'}
Mrs SLB finally gave up on getting in the parking lot and went home and had leftovers. Sure hope we get in tonight. Looking forward to my chicken sandwich.
Folks, the support being shown today is far greater than we could imagine!
My eye-witness account:
Okay. We decided to eat there for lunch instead. Actually we went to Truett’s diner.
The drive thru line stretched out to the road, then out into the main road. I’d say there were probably 75+ cars lined up. The parking lot was jam-packed, but that’s normal. What isn’t normal is the overflow parking that’s usually not full except when they’re having something special for the kids at New Year’s and July 4th - and it was full today.
People were parking at Sam’s, McDonald’s, and a nearby steak house. There was a traffic cop directing cars in addition to a young man who works there. The line was moving quickly as possible under the circumstances, but it was still a long wait. There was a young lady standing on the sidewalk with a walkie-talkie taking orders.
Everyone was happy, laughing and having great fun with it, with everyone knowing what a blessing the Cathy’s have been and feeling a bit of joy in being able to show our support to this wonderful and kind family.
This trip normally takes us 45 minutes or so to get there, place our takeout order, and get back home. Today we left at 11:45 and got just got home at 1:45.
Just a tremendous outpouring of support from the silent majority! Can you hear us now?!!!
