The CIA station chief opened the locked box containing the sensitive equipment he used from his home in Tel Aviv, Israel, to communicate with CIA headquarters in Virginia, only to find that someone had tampered with it. He sent word to his superiors about the break-in.

Pollard was a hero! That information should have gone to Israel anyway. If Israel is spying more against the U.S. than usual, then, good for them! America is no longer a friendly nation under Barack Hussein Obama.

Obama's America pretends to be friendly to Israel and Israel pretends not to do spying against this hostile administration.

Quite a balance!

There is normal spying going on all the time. Then, there is the spying that goes with knowing that the USA is being led by a muslim president who would cut Israel’s throat if he could get away with it. Can you blame them for spying when you cannot trust your “ally?”

With this administration, Israel is not exactly spying (allegedly) on an ally. More like seeing reality for what it is and protecting itself from the Muslim Brotherhood.

May G-d bless Jonathan Pollard, a good American, a courageous Jew.

I’ll probably get flamed for this but here goes.

Speaking as a Canadian, I really don’t understand the American obsession with Israel. I know it’s considered axiomatic that Israel’s and America’s interests coincide, but given their different geopolitical contexts this cannot possibly be the case. There’s a difference between being a good ally and putting another country’s interests ahead of your own.

Just my 2 cents. Flame away.

Sorry guys, but I don’t put the interests of Israel over that of the United States. Not for a second. Pollard should have been executed for the traitor he is, and taxpayer dollars sent to our “friend” Israel should come to s screeching halt.

As a Catholic the interest starts with Jesus. It continues with the re birth of the nation out of nowhere just as the Bible said it would. It continues with the excavations of sites being right where they are suppose to be as written in the Bible, and I would be fooling no one to say I wasn't even remotely interested in the current events wondering if I will be around for God's conclusion of this grand creation.

I could care less about Pollard, He should stay where He is, They the govt of Israel attacked and almost sunk our ship the liberty, so I am not at all surprised to read that they are sneaking into our CIA offices and breaking into safes. Why would you be surprised? My personal interest is getting to Heaven at the end of this life. Alot of God's interest was in that area, at least in the beginning and it is written will be in the end. The government or Jewish leaders at the time of Jesus were not sterling examples of men and neither so it seems are the current leaders.

I'm a huge supporter of Israel, but they're not our friends when they do this stuff to us, and we should, for lack of a better word, punish them appropriately. We need to tell them straight up "Look, we love you guys, but if you do this to us again, you're on your own. No money, no weapons, no diplomatic backing in the UN"

You do not screw your friends. And I hate to admit it, but as an American, and even more as a conservative, when it comes to Israel, sometimes I feel like the girl that's found out her boyfriend has been sleeping with my friends and stealing my stuff. Being an American conservative in relation to Israel is kind of like battered wife syndrome.

Pollard did receive payment.

What most people don’t know and many try to suppress is that he also spied on behalf of PAKISTAN.

Now —tell me how that’s being, “for Israel”.

Amen to that. We've proved (and American jews proved in in the last election) that no one here seems to give a damn what happens to that ballsy little country.

The Kenyan must go.

A friend of mine who worked in counter-intelligence in the 1980s once told me that his group considered Israel almost as untrustworthy as the Soviets when it came to stealing U.S. military secrets.

Given Israel’s geographic position, she can in some ways be an ally that Canada, for example, by simple geography cannot.

I'll explain it to you, and I'll be blunt about it: It's all tied to massive amounts of money for lobbying U.S. elected officials.

If you think I'm joking, just ask yourself why the U.S. is willing to p!ss away hundreds of billions of dollars and thousands of dollars in a "War on Terror" to "promote democracy" all over the Middle East, yet somehow the radical Islamic monarchy in Saudi Arabia never seems to come up in the conversation. This is what happens when radical Arab Muslims from countries that have enormous trade surpluses with the U.S. figure out that they can lobby the U.S. government just as effectively as AIPAC has been doing for years.

The “alliance” seems mostly one way. What does Israel do for the US that matches what the US has done for Israel?

Garbage. Are you a religious person? Pollard is. He didn’t do anything for money. There was no loss to the US. Pollard is a good American, a godly Jew.
