The super duper 5.56MM round falls between the Remington .222 and Rem .222 mag in power.

I used my Oly Arms M4 to kill a wild hog in southern Ohio a few weeks ago and it did the job quickly and cleanly. I'd never hunted with the M4 before, and I was pretty impressed with it's performance for a rifle that shoots "a good woodchuck round", as I've heard it described...

One for each hand...

I believe the term is “a brace” of AR15s...

Time to “brace” yourself.

But not as good as 9-13 30 cal balls moving at about 1300fps. (says the Saiga 12 owner)

I am very glad to still be free to enjoy this conversation about personal property of a tactical nature we are still allowed to purchase and own. The boyz and girlz in the fusion centers must be $#itting their leotards, pondering the latent danger in going for the Full Monty Hugo Chavez.

AR comes from ARmalite NOT Automatic Rifle.

Tell Colt and the Patent and Trademark Office that.

Both are correct, as you will read downthread.

Hey Travis...

Blood boiling anger whenever I see this pic and others like it.

You wonder to yourself what possible harm a pony-tailed young girl could possibly be to the all-powerful, all-benevolent, all-loving Utopian Paradise State...

She probably dared to think for herself in liberal paradise, and paid for it with her life.

Gentlemen, I admire your expertise in the use of the Second Amendment to defeat the tyrants who continually arise.

Now the son of the Islamo-Communist Malcolm X, the puke who bows to the Saudi King, the groupie drooling over the so-glorious PRC, the closet queen gaga over going flexible with Vlad the KGB scum surrounds himself with the likes of Bill Ayers the coward who sends girlfriends to build bombs, toasts Chavez, calls for 25 million to be eliminated for resisting the revolution--

That was this girl's crime.

Zero had Anita Dunn in communications who regarded Mao the murderer of 60 million as her mentor;

And when the peaceful students in Tiananmen built the papier mache Statue of Liberty the drug-crazed PLA hosed those they couldn't simply grind into hamburger with their treads. Two thousand massacred--by Communists revered by Zero, Hillary, and their apparatchiks.

See the brave ten chinkcops beat the Falun Gong woman's thighs into purple tuna--

And the PLA deployed to Tibet and Nepal so lonely and isolated they must be provided violent combat-simulation videogames to stave off deteriorating morale, decaying martial skills.

This is Zero's paradise, the misogynistic narcissist who washes his hands if he accidentally touches his wife.

This is why your clarity and that of millions of Americans is so heartening.

Because the enemy is past the gates--in the White House.

The one PLA leader who objected to the 1989 Strike Hard spent the rest of his life under house arrest.

The Man Who Stopped the Tanks was made an unperson.

And these wriggling maggots hold the mortgage.

I had an Oly back in the mid 1980s. This is when they built them from junked parts and it was crap. It keyholed half the rounds I fired.

Since they have gotten serious about building them the quality has increased.

Uh, no. The FAL is about as reliable as an AK. The only ones that had the problem was the FALs with heavy barrels when they tried to use them as squad support machine guns - they would fire two than jam. This was specific to the rare squad-support heavy barrel weapons and the regular issue light barrel FALs never had the problem. Regular military FALs would go FA and dump a magazine with no problems.

Even then, compared to the jam-o-matic M16A0 and A1, the HB FAL was still more reliable.

The other jerk is saying that now also.

I’d like to get one in .308 caliber. There is something about a .223 that doesn’t impress me.

Thank you both for the clarifications.

This sounds like the “Mini M16” although I’m sure that it differs in some way.
