Actually, my point is that Paterno is NOT being tried in a court of law, but rather, in a court of public opinion.

And most convienent to your defense of Paterno is the fact that he will never face charges in a criminal court.

Paterno among others secretly conspired and “actively and knowingly, went out of their way to illegally provide cover for, and further enable” their so called “professional co-worker”, to rape multiple young boys for well over a decade.

The question I have for all Joe Paterno supporters, especially now that the Freeh report has been published is ...HOW CAN YOU DARE TO CONTINUE TO DEFEND HIM ??!!!

What else will people of your ilk support?

Thank you. My guess is that the Paternos’ lawyer will poke some holes in the Freeh report. I suspect that Freeh was retained to produce a report that conforms to a pre-ordained conclusion.

Anyway, this ain't over yet. Will be really interesting if it turns out Paterno’s role in this was less than the Freeh report leads us to believe. So all the vilification will have been for naught. I won't holds my breath waiting for apologies to the Paterno family.
