The media is like a high fever in a very ill person. The underlying cause of the fever is usually a viral or bacterial infection.

So?...I agree with you, that the media is an **immediate** threat that may, in the very near future, kill our freedom.

But...The underlying cause is schooling and the cure will take a generation or two. Nearly 85% of our nation's children attend socialist-entitlment schools that have **never** been more than generically and lukewarmly Protestant in their worldview. Since the sixties they have been utterly godless. What do children learn in these schools?

Answer:

1) They risk learning to be comfortable with socialism and government compulsion. Hey! Any voting mob that is powerful enough to give them tuition-free schooling is powerful enough to give them **lots** of “free” stuff and force them to use it and pay taxes for it. Franklin D. Roosevelt wasn't an accident. All it took was one to three generations of compulsory socialist-entitlement K-12 schooling.

2) They will learn to think and reason godlessly. They MUST just to cooperate in the godless classroom. How could it be otherwise?

3) Children who attend prison-like government schools risk learning to be compliant prisoners of the state!

Solutions:

Short term

Strive to build up an alternative conservative media. For example, why isn't there a free 24/7 “TV-like” news program on an Internet site? Surely, there must be conservatives with the talent to do this.

Long term

Conservative must work to shut down the socialist-entitlement K-12 schools and get children into private educational settings that will uphold traditional values. ( Personally, I believe that the prison-like, brick and mortar, and Prussian-model system should be completely scrapped. )

I predict to you right now that the media will elect Obama as they did last time by smearing Palin.

The media will elect Obama even with the terrible economy and the obvious decline of America.

The media gets what it wants. How many billions in negative attack ads did the media give for free to Obama when they smeared Palin 24/7 in a million media outlets every second? I'd say about 10 billion in free ads . That is the power of the media. even if we had private schools and no gov schools as is needed the media would still be driving the U.S. toward the left and the media would still be growing the government.
