Fast and Furious will prove worse than Watergate
Buckeye Firerams Association ^ | 16 July, 2012 | Tim Inwood

A few days ago Obama spokesman Jay Carney tried to tie Bush era operations like Wide Receiver with Operation Fast and Furious. If you watch something other than MSNBC you would know there is little in common between the Bush era operations and what Obama/Holder did.

The fact is, in the other cases they were run like any other classic police show set up you have ever seen. Whether it is drugs, fake bombs, guns, etc... this is done all the time. The contraband objects the criminals wanted to get never left the careful watch of Law Enforcement and then arrests were made at the critical moment. Not so with Fast and Furious and make no mistake - Fast and Furious started in 2009. This is a wholly Obama/Holder run operation, only halted when outraged ATF whistleblowers took the story to the media. This White House thinks you are stupid enough that you will buy their lies and not research this.

With Fast and Furious they allowed guns to walk away on purpose and NO arrests were made. CBS reported on a document admitting one of the goals was to justify the need for more anti-gun regulations. Shortly after coming to office Obama claimed 90% of Mexican crime guns came from the US. Fox News researched this in Mexico and found it was less than 17%. Fast and Furious started after that report, a blatant attempt to make Obama's lie a fact by flooding Mexico with guns that were clearly marked as having been imported into the US.

It's rather obvious, if you want to stop things from crossing the border, secure it and stop attacking the rights of American citizens!

The Obama administration likes to brag they released 7000 pages but the fact is they are now hiding 70,000 documents. If nothing illegal was done why hide this? If Obama knew nothing then why did he now bring this into the White House by claiming executive privilege? What is he covering up? The Terry's, parents of a dead American hero, want answers.

This is much worse than Watergate my friends. Nobody died in Watergate. This scandal comes with a pile of bodies on both sides of the border. Vote this criminal regime out in November!

Dennis Burke, the U.S. attorney in charge of Fast and Furious, was the go to guy in the Clinton administration for pushing the "assault weapon" ban.

File under: Believe it when I see it

Will file with Whitewater, Travelgate, Fostergate, the Clinton bimbo eruptions and all the other mostly Democrat scandals that the mainstream media have broomed under the rug.

Without the mainstream press out for Nixon’s scalp, Watergate would have gone exactly nowhere. Fast and Furious is going exactly nowhere, even though it is much worse than anything that went on around Watergate.

...ONLY if follow through to the end...with NO DEALS CUT.
As we have become accustomed to, no one faces any consequence for actions, they still get their pensions, promotions, and cushy job someplace else.
If Sandy Berger can get away with larceny (felon) not serve time, and THE AMERICAN PEOPLE still don’t know what he stole or replaced....there’s little hope of anything serious happening to any top level people.

In a strictly legal sense F&F may turn out to be worse than Watergate, but then there is a large segment of the population that doesn't care for the Rule of Law. And those “Americans” are abetted by a Media that actively supports the unconstitutional acts of this president.

Precisely.

There have been numerous Executive and Legislative crimes both before and especially after Watergate itself that were MUCH more serious.

The sad lesson here is that the Commie Press still wields enormous power.

However, the US Cavalry is on the way, in the form of the heaven-sent Internet.

R-i-g-h-t... that’s why Obama is currently up 70 electoral votes on Romney and just 18 from 270...

You are correct. These things are not a “scandal” or even a crime when Democrats do it.

I understand that in the Bush program the Mexican authorities were fully informed whereas with the Fast and Furious the Mexican authorities were kept in the dark. True??

They don't even bother to do that any more. They just ignore them, call the whistle-blower a nutcase, a conspiracy kook or a right wing extremist and go on their merry way.........

Watergate is nothing compared to Fast and Furious. King Obama and his communists empire killed hundreds with this illegal traffic of weapons to Mexican criminals.

Was flipping through my cable channels the other day and briefly saw that CurrentTV was running a show something like, “How American guns get into the hands of Mexican drug cartels...”
Couldn’t force myself to watch it but do you think it said anything about F&F?
Mmm?
