Matthews Counsels Obama: Talk To Americans As If They Were 'Two-Year Olds'

Quite the MSNBC two-fer tonight. Wrapping up Hardball, Chris Matthews counseled President Obama to explain his accomplishments to the American people "as if he were talking to a two-year old."
Later, on Al Sharpton's MSNBC show, MSNBC contributor Richard Wolffe said he "might get into trouble" for saying that President George W. Bush has done a dignifed job of staying out of the limelight since leaving office. Was Wolffe being facetious? He seemed straight-faced. View the video after the jump.
Watch these two gems. Wolffe didn't seem to be joking about getting into trouble for saying something decent about W. And Matthews obviously has little regard for the intelligence of the American people.
On Hardball, Chris Matthews counseled President Obama to literally treat the American people like children.
CHRIS MATTHEWS: I want President Obama to focus on something between now and November. What I'd like him to do is speak simply and clearly to this country about what he's accomplished. I said simply and clearly. Remember Denzel Washington in the movie Philadelphia? He played the lawyer who told prospective clients to "explain this to me like I'm a two-year old.". . . He needs to sell his auto-rescue plan, his jobs act, his health-care act as if he were talking to a two-year old. And he can do it.
Later, on Sharpton's Politics Nation, after video was rolled of 43 saying it's not good for former presidents to be "bloviating and opining" and that he has no interest in fame or power . . .
RICHARD WOLFFE: I might get into trouble for saying this but I actually think President Bush has done a dignified job of staying out of the public eye and not taking part in this.

"explain this to me like I'm a two-year old." That's good, because that is about the level of Obama's and the average socialists' understanding of economic issues.

Professor Wolffe holds political views that lie somewhere between Michael Moore and Trotsky on the spectrum. So yes, he had better have his life insurance paid-up if he said something nice about W. He has far more to fear from his friends than his enemies on that point.
To: chessplayer
Gee, I hope Obama follows this advice.
Even two year olds don’t like being talked to as if they were two years old...

So, according to Matthews, anyone who listens to Obama has the maturity/intellectual capacity of a two-year old.
hmmmm
That includes a lot of Dems and media people.

Neat post chessplayer. Actually Obama should get awards for 'condescending arrogant talking down' to those of us in the lowly masses, already. I relate to nothing about him.
Matthews is a great example why campaign law regulations on independent groups speech makes no sense, ref Citizen's United. Matthews dedicates his show to re-electing Obama yet no campaign finance proposal ever regulated his speech.
That is why he supports them, : “Gag for thee but not for me”
BTW: How smart can anyone be who believes what Obama says?

Chris Matthews is the personification of bias, NO objectivity, and simply stated he has proven consistently that he is a whore for 0bama. If someone told Matthews that by fellating 0bama he could guarantee his re-election, Matthews would respond at once with 'where's my lip balm, guys?'
0bama is a liar. He is an unmitigated and amoral liar. Even when it would be to his advantage to tell the truth, he is compelled to lie. It doesn't matter if it is a psychological problem or if it was his upbringing, he is untrustworthy to even safeguard pocket change intended for use in the office vending machines.
0bama is surrounded and empowered by a phalanx of fellow liars, schemers and manipulators, who will stop at nothing to be sure their grip on power remains sure.
That is why I would not at all be surprised if there were a staged assassination attempt resulting in some sort of undetermined wounding of 0bama say, a week before the election (again, assuming we're going to have one), all for the purpose of generating sympathy and support. Such an event would likely be used to usher in a pogrom against all conservative patriots, all 'dissident' Americans who have refused to buy into the fraud that is 0bama. Picture if you will, Chris Matthews and all the talking heads keeping a vigil around Bethesda Naval on Election Day, breathlessly reporting on 0bama's 'condition', the tear stained face of M00chelle, and they'll trot out the kids to maybe emulate little JFK Jr's salute, all of it used to shame and intimidate those who dared to speak ill of the 45th person to occupy the Oval Office (nope, still not gonna call that Kenyan douchebag the 'President', it ain't happenin' folks)
Oh we have not even begun to see the games that are going to be played.
[Disclaimer: nothing in this post is to be construed as any sort of threat against any elected or unelected usurper or official, whatsoever]

What I'd like him to do is speak simply and clearly to this country about what he's accomplished. . . . Please let 0 bummer talk about everything he has done the past 3+ years. Not much there chris.
He needs to sell his auto-rescue plan, his jobs act, his health-care act as if he were talking to a two-year old. And he can do it.
Most of his voters would have problems understanding the language. Remember what they did in 2008 chrissy. Wait until the full effects of 0 bummer care hits in 2014. By the way chrissy, the auto rescue plan was a major fail.
