| Your Heart is Feeling Shy |
Your heart certainly has some strong feelings, you're just not sure if you're ready to let them show. You could be someone's secret admirer, or maybe you just haven't truly expressed how deep your feelings run. Maybe you're still a little unsure about how you feel... or your unsure about what reaction you'll get.
Deep down, your heart is susceptible to: Clamming up and running away from love
Your current outlook on love: Introspective and a bit detached
Your love life will improve if you: Put yourself out there a little more. If you don't try, you'll never know.
Watch out for: Having a one sided romance - you need to be sure you're feelings are reciprocated.
Being happily married, I think this is a bit over-the-top for me! LOL! |

| Your Heart is Feeling Safe |
Right now, all is good with your heart. And you intend on keeping it that way. Whether you're deeply in love or just looking, you know that your heart will be taken care of. You never risk your heart too much, but you don't hold it back either. You know who to trust your heart with.
Deep down, your heart is susceptible to: Getting a little too comfortable
Your current outlook on love: Calm and future oriented
Your love life will improve if you: Treat other people's hearts the way you expect yours to be treated
Watch out for: Taking the people you're dating for granted |

| Your Heart is Feeling Passionate |
Your heart is brimming with passion, intensity, and extreme lust. You definitely have desire for one particular person, and it seems like nothing can squelch your craving. You are ready to walk across fire for the one you love.
Deep down, your heart is susceptible to: Distrust and aggression . You're determined to get what you want.
Your current outlook on love: Love equals obsession. Love equals mania. Love equals thirst.
Your love life will improve if you: Follow your passion far, but not so far as to ruin your life.
Watch out for: False feelings. Your emotions are intense, but they could easily mislead you. |
That's embarrassing. :-/

The Best Things In Life
July 18, 2012
An old adage says, The best things in life are free. Theres a lot of truth in that. Some people, however, believe that the best things in life are expensive or perhaps elusive. Recently I saw a sign that made me smile and think. It said, The best things in life are not things. What a great way to say it! The value of family, friends, and faith points us to the realization that what matters most in life is all wrapped up in people and the Lord.
Solomon was well qualified to speak about material things because he surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom (1 Kings 10:23). His advice? Do not overwork to be rich; because of your own understanding, cease! Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away like an eagle toward heaven (Prov. 23:4-5). His recommended course of action was, Apply your heart to instruction, and your ears to words of knowledge. . . . For surely there is a hereafter, and your hope will not be cut off (vv.12,18).
The best things in life are the eternal riches that come from Gods goodness and grace in Jesus Christ. We do not hold them in our hands, but in our hearts.
The treasures of earth are not mine,
I hold not its silver and gold;
But a treasure far greater is mine;
I have riches of value untold. Hartzler
Our greatest riches are the riches we have in Christ.

YOUR HEART IS WITH THE BOYS OF 3/5, NOW AND ALWAYS!

The 3rd Battalion, Fifth Marine Regiment forged its tradition and reputation in the Bois de Belleau in June, 1918. Against heavy odds, they fought with such ferocity in winning through to victory that the German Field Marshall Von Ludendorf conferred upon them the sobriquet Teufelhunden (Devil-Dogs).
The Battalion blazoned this tradition of victory through heavy odds in WWII in the great battles of Guadalcanal, New Britain, Peleliu and Okinawa.
In Korea, the saga continued at the Pusan Perimeter, Inchon, Seoul and the Frozen Chosin.
The legend was emblazoned in Vietnam, where the Battalion served in Chu-Lai, Da Nang, Quang Nam, and in such battles as Operation Union and Union II in the Que Son valley, the epic Battle of Hue, engagements in and around An Hoa, the Arizona Territory, Gonoy Island and the highlands to the west.
Most recently, the Battalion served in a highly successful deployment to the Sangin District of Helmand Province, Afghanistan. I have spoken on several occasions with GySgt. Terence DAlesandro, USMC, Company Gunny of Lima 3/5 in Afghanistan during the Sangin Deployment. To anyone who questions the quality of todays Marines, I suggest you have a conversation with Gunny D! He is a straight shooter and an inspirational leader. OORAH, Gunny D!
The courage, professionalism and esprit de corps demonstrated by todays 3/5 Marines does the battered heart of this old FMF Corpsman good. They have upheld, embellished and augmented a proud tradition.
My heart is with them now as it was over forty years ago, and as it will ever be. May the Lord be praised that our Nation produces warriors like these! It augurs well for the future of our Nation that we continue to do so in these perilous days.

SEMPER FI, BROTHERS, UNTIL WE MEET GUARDING THE GATES!

Thank you. We are very exhausted but joyful. My boy is scheduled to go to PISC in January and is trying to work out some way to go earlier. He's been waiting and working many years for this and doesn't want to wait any longer.
I was especially proud because the people at MEPS recognized his tremendous military attitude and bearing. People can tell a hundred yards off that he carries himself like a Marine. All the personnel there noted how correct he was and how very well he did on everything. When the kids were being sworn in, the room was full of 20 sloppy, confused, slightly scared civilian boys and girls who were trying in a sweet, lame manner to be military, though they weren't quite sure how, and then there was one serious boy who stuck out like a sore thumb because he had studied to do everything perfectly. This is a kid who wants a DI to be hard on him so he can learn more.
Please agree with me in prayer for his safety and mental peace.

Had a good day, thanks! I can't remember if I told you - I went to see a Pain Dr. yesterday - he has me on an oral med for nerve pain and a patch as well. He's also put me on on a back brace. After two days on the back brace, my impression is that I can stand more erectly and walk more easily. I'm starting on aqua-therapy - should ease a lot of the pressure arsing from my ponderous weight. This Dr. seems to have it more together than the other guys I've seen - not a gun-jumper for surgery.

Hi! href="http://www.blogthings.com/whatisyourheartfeelingquiz/results/?result=8">Your Heart is Feeling Open
You have no idea where your love path leads, but you're looking forward to the journey. For you, love as an adventure. While you may get hurt, that's the risk you have to take. You are receptive to any love or relationship that may come your way. You can't predict love!
Deep down, your heart is susceptible to: Anything... both good and bad
Your current outlook on love: Free spirited and flexible
Your love life will improve if you: Protect yourself a little. You don't have to be open to every romantic experience.

FREEDOM ISNT FREE!
It Is Purchased With The Blood Of Patriots!
Freedom Isnt Free
By DDR Kelly Strong USCG (ret)
I watched the flag pass by one day, It fluttered in the breeze. A young Marine saluted it, And then he stood at ease. I looked at him in uniform So young, so tall, so proud, With hair cut square and eyes alert Hed stand out in any crowd.

Eternal Father, Strong to Save (Click)
I thought how many men like him Had fallen through the years. How many died on foreign soil How many mothers tears? How many pilots planes shot down? How many died at sea How many foxholes were soldiers graves? No, freedom isnt free.

Taps (Click)
I heard the sound of Taps one night, When everything was still, I listened to the bugler play And felt a sudden chill. I wondered just how many times That Taps had meant Amen, When a flag had covered a coffin. Of a brother or a friend.

I thought of all the children, Of the mothers and the wives, Of fathers, sons and husbands With interrupted lives, I thought about a graveyard At the bottom of the sea Of unmarked graves in Arlington, No, freedom isnt free.

God Of Our Fathers (Click)
