How do you solve a problem like Sarah? Romney misses out in stand-off with loose cannon diva
The London Daily Mail ^ | July 16, 2012 | Daniel Bates

Posted on 07/16/2012 1:40:59 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

She is the Tea Party diva who lit up the 2008 Presidential campaign.

But four years later Mitt Romney is facing one of the most vexing questions of his campaign: what to do with Sarah Palin?

In an increasingly uncomfortable stand-off, he has not invited her to next month’s Republican national convention whilst she has failed to give him her full backing.

Palin has also not appeared with the Romney on the campaign trail and prefers to use her Facebook page to bash Barack Obama.

The result is that the Republican presidential candidate is left without the endorsement of a woman who can energise his base in a way he can only dream of.

The former Massachusetts governor - who is so emotionally cold friends reportedly call him ‘Tin Man’ - is facing nagging questions about how he can appeal to the Tea Party which still feels he is a left wing flip flopper.

Palin would fill that role but would constantly be in danger of going rogue - and not sticking to the carefully crafted scripts....

McCain didn’t initiate socialistic ROMNEYCARE or same sex marriage for his state and isn’t pro abortion and McCain served his country. Mitt has evil running through his lying veins. And McCain isn’t a cult leader. They can’t be compared - compare Mitt to obama - they are both godless.

That is true.
The closest she has come is, “we need to get rid of BHO” or “I’ll support the nominee”.
She has said she would step up to run if there is a brokered convention.
When she talks about the “nominee”, she very rarely even mentions Romney’s name, and seems to gag a little if she does have to say his name.

Sarah who?

I've been told here on FR that Romney is our savior, and that we must ignore such irrelevancies as "what's her name." (See tagline)

She did say last August on her visit to Iowa that she “could support someone like Romney.”

How ignorant.

Sarah Palin was a governor and a VP candidate, Mitchel only reads the news.

Former governors, senators, house members, presidents and former VP candidates are asked to speak quite frequently.

To compare the above to someone who reads the news is ridiculous.

Apparently, I have a LOT in common with her.

It would be no more appropriate to for the GOP to invite Sara Palin to speak at the convention than it would be for the Dems to invite Andrea Mitchell.

Has Andrea Mitchell ever been on a Presidential ticket as VP?

No problem. Stop posing as a conservative, and just admit you’re an acceptable RINO because you’re not Obama. TEA partiers can either take you or leave you, as they see fit. Give her a voice in the administration, perhaps a cabinet level post. State? I would love it.

Yes when McCain chose her he thought he was just throwing a bone to conservatives so we would shut up and vote for him. He and many other Republicans/RINOs were stunned to find out how many of “us” there are. Likely stunned and a bit worried, now they are back to walking on us and still expecting our vote. It is not just that they don’t know what to do about Palin, they can shut her out- they don’t know what to do about us.

Right and add his treatment of NEWT this election. His contempt for conservatives/conservatism/Our Constitution is as high as he is low.

I'd NEVER vote for his LYING boney cult butt. I don't vote for evil.

She may have said that before the primaries, I mean who would have thought Romney was probably going to be the nominee.
Now when she speaks of him, she seems to just gag when she says his name, AND she said in a brokered convention she would step up.....hardly a support statement for someone like Romney.

Romney is not just a vapid dork; he has taken a blood oath to Lucifer, and he will conduct himself accordingly. You may consider it a joke, but he does not; he wears a Lucifer approved space suit under his clothes every day.

Explains why Santo kissed Romney's ring last week. Reminiscent of the first scene from “The Godfather”.

Unfortunately, you will not likely be given a chance to cast a meaningful vote for anything else.

The best thing I have heard Gov. Palin say about Romney is that he isn't Obama. Furthermore, she has said the Romney's success as president is dependent on having a very conservative House and Senate.

She is going to work her harump off for the down ticket, but I doubt seriously if she will work much if at all for Romney.

Rotmney needs to be shown the door in Tampa!

He is not the GOP pick.

He is the DNC II pick.

Rush barely scrapped the truth for a brief moment today.

He noticed how viscous Myth was and is to GOP candidates, VS how kid gloved he is towards the DNC candidate.

It's because Myth is NOT a Republican! He's just another illuminati finger puppet! It's disheartening that over half of even FR peeps still believe in the puppet show!

No refunds folks. Stop buying the ticket!

Maybe a better analogy would be Joe Scarborough—former GOP office holder and now MSNBC TV host.

Sara Palin isn’t the only conservative former politician in the world, and world doesn’t revolve around her. I honestly don’t understand why it’s an issue at all.

This just sounds too much like the Paul supporters complaining that Ron Paul hasn’t been invited to speak at the convention.

Speaking of their demonic oaths and such, Wal-Marts in Utah and other stores are selling LDS necklaces (made by a company owned by the Osmonds) that are a downward pentacle.

She should wait until 2020. You know Palin/West or West/Palin. Knock em’ out with two rights.
