Are there any more reputable sources carrying this story? As much as I loath this prosecutor I find it hard to believe any competent prosecutor would do this. It’s unethical and most likely illegal.

If I am reading this right, there is only a two year age difference between Zimmerman and "witness #9".

That would mean if the girl was 6 years old, then Zimmerman was 8 years old.

Witness 9 went on to say that the last molestation by Zimmerman started as "massage," and moved to touching and kissing and that’s when she ran away.

And this occurred when she was 16 and Zimmerman was 18, per the article. And this is unusual for teenage boys with respect to teenage girls, how?

There have been several actions by this prosecutor which are to say the least unusual and (if she had any intention of winning the case) stupid. The first is going after a murder charge instead of the more plausible voluntary manslaughter. Now the release, pre-trial, of the accused’s recorded (legally?) private phone calls from jail. If this case was a ship I’d say the captain was trying to scuttle her.

This case needs tossed out and the prosecutor jailed! Entering hearsay of prejudicial allegations about acts unrelated to the charges is beyond cause for disbarment. The judge also needs to be disbarred for allowing such information to enter the court.

I think that Corey doing this now opens up Trayvon Martin's past to a full investigation. All professional courtesies are now off the table.

Mark O'Mara -- start subpoenaing those toxicology reports that are a month late, the school records, the juvenile records, and then ask the court why the prosecution turned over cut and paste copies of Tracy Martin's phone records and not the original copies from the phone company??? I have never been jailed, but a number of my clients have, and I always tell them - Rule #1 of Fight Club is - shut the hell up in jail, and do not communicate anything to anyone (in writing, on the visitors telephone, from a pay phone) while in custody. You have no expectation of privacy while there and the authorities are listening to/surveilling everything. With regard to the recorded interview with this "W9" - we'll see how that stands up when Zimmerman's lawyers get to confront her in court.
