Why the hell should we change our minds about the absolute worst gop candidate of our lifetime??? I mean with every news cycle comes another load of feces thrown at the base from mitt and the nitwits.

Since they know that romney does NOT have the vote of the base sewn up... does your logic mean that he doesn't care about those votes... because if he needs every vote that he can get... and he does... one would think that he would do whatever it takes to secure the vote of those party members that are supposed to the the foundation upon which you build your campaign... but romney is a progressive socialist and he hates our guts more that reid and pelosi do... so none of this is the least bit surprising.

I will loudly proclaim at my voting site, as i have for 50 yrs....

'FOLKS DONT ANYONE DARE TO GET INBETWEEN ME AND THAT REPUBLICAN LEVER!'.

This always brings a passel of liberal horrified gasps to my ears...and some consternational clucks from blue haired democrat poll worker clucks on the scene.... but boy it sure is fun ...I do this every time i vote.....try it everybody....IT'S ACES...

What I’m saying is some people here seem to think that by having Palin speak she will get everyone out to vote, my point is, it doesn’t matter who speaks, the romney haters have their minds made up, so why the ruckus about palin speaking, she isn’t going to change anyone’s mind.

Here is the real reason that Palin will not be invited to speak on the main night. She may get some time but not spotlight time. mitt romney is a coward... he just is... he may be a very astute businessman and he may be a successful Capitalist... and I applaud him for it... but so was ross perot and I despised that little hand-grenade with ears too.

romney does not want Palin to get the crowd rocking... and it is a proved law of physics that Palin draws a crowd... whips them into a frenzy... instills pride and patriotism into scarred hearts and explains Conservatism in terms and a style very similar to those used by Reagan.

mitt cannot afford another Palin speech like the one that made mccain look like a third string quarterback. I remember charles krauthammer and fred barnes BOTH salivating at her words. They both stated that they didn't know if she would be the first female Vice President but they both knew that had they had seen the new super star of the gop.

That is why mitt, mccain and all of their common staff... worked with the main stream media and attacked and tried to destroy the positive image of Palin. She is a threat to their dream of continuing and strenghtening the progressive direction of the gop. They damaged her in the short term... but she is stronger today because of it and America will be ready... one day... for her leadership. A few more years like the last 3.5 and it will be Tar and Feathers.

mccain has destroyed his image forever and this election will end mitt's public career one way or the other. He will either lose or be a one term wonder. Palin's days are yet to come. I believe that because she is the only real leader and statesman that I see today. There are other young Conservatives that my one day mature into true leaders... but Palin is the only Conservative leader that is the entire package.

mitt has very little charisma, very little passion that connects with people and he just appears to be a little too "plastic"... hair and all. mitt cannot afford for one the the greatest motivational speakers of our present time, being compared and contrasted to the performance that he will give. mitt's performance will be ok but he will not be putting any lipstick on any Pitt Bulls. He will have no Zell Miller moment... as when Zell was talking about kerry cutting the Military and asked, "What in the hell are they going to use for weapons... spitballs"? mitt has none of that within him.

“does your logic mean that he doesn’t care about those votes?”

He cares about conservative base votes of course.

I can’t see Sarah giving a speech that wouldn’t be too roguish for the convention. How could she do it without saying things she didn’t believe? She would damage her reputation among her own base which includes me.

After this election is over, regardless of the outcome, Sarah can get back to being Sarah.

Romney is scared sh*tless that Palin would actually say that Obama is a socialist and a disgrace as president. Mr.
Niceguy Willard the RINO can’t take the chance. He also knows the vast majority of the GOP common folk (the ones that really vote), like Palin a hell of alot more than they like him. I still think Palin is invited, but she will not get a prime-time speaking slot.

So that is what they do, year after year. Because conservatives keep voting for them "one last time." Just like ABO has them already primed to do in 2012. What's most astounding is that the very people who recognize this, are still going to vote for Romney. And they'll be here again, lamenting the very phenomenon they nourish with their reluctant votes.

I used to be one of them.

I used to be one of them... but I am no more. Unless we enact change... there will NEVER be change... and if not now... when? No one ever answers that question... because the excuse of “next time” has been worn down to a nub.
