The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Mitt Romney attracting 46% of the vote, while President Obama earns 44%. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) more are undecided.

I find that complete and utter BS. If 50 percent (Republicans) don’t want another candidate than they are dumber then I imagined.
He spends his campaign’s money almost as recklessly as he does ours.

There are signs of the "bar stool": Using the actual politically incorrect word in an ad - "LIES" and refusing to give Obama any more Income Tax Return Ammunition.
Those are good signs. I don't think Romney is going to make the McCain Mistake. At least I'm hopeful that he won't.
I do think the sheer chutzpah and hypocrisy of Reverend Wright’s Altar Boy questioning Romney’s character has astonished even the most casual observer. He just can’t get away with this crap the way he did last time.
I'm thinking Scott Walker will be content with actually doing some governing at this point.
And thus all this gnashing of teeth the past two weeks on our side was total crap. Romney has the money to spend...they like where they are in July...a President burning through his campaign money and still sitting in the mid-40s.
As always, I clarify my opinion that Romney was probably my last choice in the field, but he beat the rest. While I don’t have high confidence in him for his presidency, I do not think his campaign is lacking in effective leadership. If they saw they were falling in the polls, they would act accordingly. Instead, I believe they see a cornered Rat, and one that is blowing their only real potential Ace in the class warfare Bain attacks...in June and July. It is a desperation move, and one that is not seeing any real impact in the polling.

Or if they think the current line of attack has been effective. Remember Obama and Begala has said "this is what the campaign will be about." There is zero empirical evidence that these Bain Attacks have paid any dividends. How many of his brain dead followers are going to pony up the bucks for pursuing more of the same?

He’s spending money at the worst possible time...in July. It has to be sheer desperation, doing something for the sake of doing something. It wouldn’t matter if he spent 10 times that much, no one is listening now. TV watching is at its lowest point.
