Palin: 2012 is a Battle Between 'Big Government' and 'Big Freedom'
Breitbart ^ | 07/15/2012 | Tony Lee

Posted on 07/15/2012 5:45:22 PM PDT by nhwingut

Sarah Palin boldly, clearly and sharply articulated the stakes in the 2012 election on Saturday when she addressed a "Patriots in the Park" Tea Party event. The event took place in Michigan and was sponsored by the Michigan branch of Americans for Prosperity and the Willow Run Tea Party Caucus.

“2012 is a race between the party of big government and the party of big freedom,” Palin said, contrasting the Republican party's vision with that of President Barack Obama's.

In reference to Obama and his policies, Palin said there was something “wrong with someone” who would want to fundamentally transform a country that was good and strong.

"If that’s what you call hope, then we want change,” Palin said.

Palin dubbed Obama’s economic policies as “Obamanomics,” called it a form of “crony capitalism on steroids” and said some aspects of Obamacare should be dubbed “no bureaucrat left behind” for the thousands of I.R.S. jobs the bill has created to collect what the Supreme Court found to be a tax.

BIG SLAVERY OR BIG FREEDOM.

It’s our choice.

Palin is right.

Unfortunately she did not run this year.

Hopefully she can correct that, next time around.

“BIG SLAVERY OR BIG FREEDOM.”

True. However, Romney will be NO BETTER. I wished Sarah would really “go rogue” and denounce Romney for the phoney he is. It would be even better if she mounted a third party run.

I know it is fantasy though. :-(

In regards to Romney...Jim Robinson wrote today:

“If you are a pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty, small government conservative you would see that he is most definitely as bad as Obama. What part of Romney’s godless liberal progessivism, abortionism, homosexualism, statism, gun grabbing, big government socialism is less evil than Obama’s?”

Big Government vs Bigger Government

Yes, there is a choice -- one is better than the other -- but there's no use pretending to be happy about this cycle.

Romney may not be any better but we may be able to keep a tight rein on his sorry ass.

Don't hold your breath...This is between those next in line on the insiders big party tour...nothing else maters. The elite control this show on both sides of the phony isle.

Can we have some insight instead of stating the bleeding obvious????

Geez, I cannot stand these types of pronouncements.

Sarah doesn’t deserve these sorts of comments from Freepers.

I can sum it up in one word: CONVERGENCE. There is no left or right in politics anymore, only interests. An outsider or wildcat has no chance of getting in, and setting things straight now. Those who try will be destroyed be the popular media, or by the current system itself. The people in the current government learned their history lessons very well, and are avoiding the mistakes made by previous empires.

How about:

EVIL VS GOOD

MUSLIM VS CHRISTIAN

LIAR VS TRUTH

TAKE YOUR PICK

HAVE A NICE DAY!

She also doesn’t deserve to be treated like Reagan incarnate. She’s a celebrity and a pundit. There are a lot of those around these days. Maybe too many.

A celebrity and a pundit who used her influence to great effect as in the 2010 elections.

Personally, my belief is the GOP doesn’t want her because if she achieved power she’d end the gravy train for both the rats and the GOP. Because of this she has to be the lone ranger..just her and a few million fed up conservatives. So she still has clout but not within the GOP.

The thing about Sarah is she loves this country, believes we should be as self-sufficient as we can and she walks the talk.
