See? We’re losing pillars of this place and ending up with a growing number of Romney ankle-biters.

The way FR has turned out for 2012 is a total surprise to me (almost as bad as how CJ Roberts went 180).

I thought FR was a reliable anti-O weapon.

The only thing which would shock me more is if Rush started attacking Mitt. (But I think/hope Rush simply has too much intregity for that to happen.)

I know some of y'all want to think the server problems are a result of someone not wanting this thread to succeed, but the problem is all over Free Republic this morning.

Why does it happens only on Sunday?

Well, for one, it doesn't. This has happened on other days, not just on Sundays. It appears more often on a weekend or holiday because different businesses aren't staffed then, so problems take longer to correct.

If you refresh enough, everything you posted will appear. Please, let's not let this shut down our discussions!

Candy Crowley is an idiot! From the transcript:

CROWLEY: And let me take that theory just for argument's sake I'll accept that theory. It is frustrating to you all because you all want to talk about the economy. Why then doesn't Mitt Romney release all of his tax returns? Why is he limiting it to two? His father, as you know, sort of set the standard with more than a dozen tax releases. You now have people like Haley Barbour, you also have the governor of Alabama, John Weaver, who I'm sure you know, say just release the taxes, the tax returns. Just so people can see.

Robert Bentley is the Governor of Alabama.

And, of course, she spends all her time with Ed Gillipsie dogging him about Romney's tax form releases and when he left Bain. Then she lets him go and comes back after commercial with David Assholerod. She spends ALL her time with him discussing....

Bain and Romney's not released tax returns!

Is Ayotte a liberal? I know nothing about her. I thought she was one of the 2010 TEA party candidates?

She BEAT the conservative, Ovide Lamontagne, in the Republican primary by a whisker. DeMint endorsed Ovide; Palin enodrsed Ayotte.

Heard an interesting comment regarding both campaigns and their advertising.
“Obama’s camp is surprised to have to campaign in about TEN states at this early stage of the campaign”
That means that there is limited to no political advertising in FORTY states, Texas being one of these states that is NOT seeing any presidential campaign advertising.

The one piece of good news on this front is that the local affiliates of the left wing media are getting no financial benefits from either the Republicans or the Democrats.

I think it was Karl Rove who mentioned that he thinks Romney is holding his fire for a while.

He believes that anything Romney puts out now will be demonized by the libs and the press.

But he does need to get more aggressive and I think he will soon.

If you friend him on Facebook, he comments there constantly.

You are so right about the press blackout.

The media is our enemy. Fortunately, all people have to do is look around their owns lives and see how miserable things have gotten economically.

I don’t think the attacks are working as they had hoped.

The Condi talk is a diversion, but a good one.

She’s so out of left field that it got coverage.

I like Condi and would love to see more of her. She’s the best dresser and looks fabulous in her clothes. Admittedly, this is not that important. Most Republican women look well-dressed at all times, but Condi is special in that department.

However, and this is a huge however, she is moderately pro-choice. Romney cannot take this chance as he has been falsely painted as being pro-choice himself.

I think Romney will get much more active after his trip to the middle east.

He wants the emphasis on that for now.

Hope he’ll come out swinging when he gets back.

Brit Hume was very anti-Gingrich.

Aside from that prejudice, I don’t see much prejudice from him.

And could we please drop the use of the term ‘bot’ to describe supporters of various people.

Way overused and kinda insulting.

I wouldn’t characterize our candidate as a crippled horse.

But their candidate is a dead horse they would love to take to the slaughter house but can’t because that would alienate their main base.

Amen, again, bray.

Man up about Bain. Brag about it. Capitalism made our country great and we need to go back to a business-friendly country.

A corporation is not some amorphous mass, some creature resembling a giant monster from the deep.

A corporation is a business that has grown and incorporated. It employs millions of people (or thousands). It pays them wages and provides health care.

It makes money for its investors, which might be us if we have 401K’s or pension plans.

I think it is just not being reported.

Perry is very active in campaigning for Mitt.

All the Dallas paper says about Perry is criticizing him for saying Texas won’t participate in the Obama medicaid program.

Just look at the headlines about Mitt’s appearance at the NAACP ... Mitt booed is all you hear. When actually he was cheered on at least 3 occasions, once when he mentioned supporting conventional marriage, once when he mentioned supporting the pipeline and ??? forget the other time.

He also received a standing ovation at the end. I think they appreciated him coming. Obama took a pass.

Mitt and Ann did a sit down interview with Oprah?

That should be interesting. Oprah is a liberal but a good interviewer and always pleasant to her guests.

Guess I’ll glance at her magazine in the beauty shop and see if I can read the article.

I think the left is making a big mistake even bringing up disposal of ‘waste baby parts.’

This paints a horrible picture and immediately one thinks, ‘baby parts... why are there so many baby parts gone to waste?’

Maybe because of an administration that whole-heartedly supports abortion.

Rush has never been really hot on Mitt, but he is far more interested in getting rid of Obama than on any doubts he may have had about Mitt.

He’s had a lot of praise for Mitt lately, particularly on the NAACP appearance.

I can’t figure out how to access the comments or forum at Hot Air. I used to check the site out when Michelle Malkin owned it but since then, no.

I do not want to go to an echo chanber where everyone agrees with me.

We used to have some stimulating thought and discussions on here Sunday mornings, but ever since JimRob gave a green light (or at least didn’t zot) anybody going neg on Mitt (or so I understand), we have had way much more of that than I can stomach. It is important to know that some? a lot? all? conservatives “hate” Mitt, but will they vote for him anyway? Stay home? Vote for O? Right now they say a 3rd party guy in Va may give the state to O. Like Nader handed Florida to Dubya.

We need some strong sites for Mitt to offset DailyKos, DU, ABCNBCCBSNCNNFOXNYTWaPO ETC.
