GOP Gov. Calls on Mitt Romney to Release Additional Tax Returns and Show He Has ‘Nothing to Hide’
ABC News ^ | 7-14-12 | Michael Falcone

Bentley said that Romney’s refusal to release more returns has created a “distraction” that Democrats were successfully exploiting. “I just believe in total transparency,” Bentley told ABC News at the National Governors Association conference. “In fact, I was asked today that question — do you think that Governor Romney should release his tax returns? And I said I do. I said, I release my tax returns. I may be the only public official in Alabama that does, but I release mine every year and I just believe that people should release their tax returns. And if you get them out and just get past that, it just makes it so much easier.” Bentley, who took office in 2001, warned that failure to do so would continue to open the door for the Obama campaign and their Democratic allies to “cause distractions away from the real issue in this campaign and that’s the economy.”

Error in here. Bentley was elected in 2010.

I’m not sure what anyone thinks is in Romney’s tax returns, on either side of the political spectrum. He ran for president in the last cycle and has had four years to prepare for the scruitiny of the campaign cycle with it’s hostile media. If there were something wrong, it would have been corrected by now in the squeakiest, cleanest manner and doublechecked by the best accountants and lawyers money can buy.

Personally, I don’t think it matters how much information the Romney campaign provides, the Obama campaign and his willing accomplices in the media will never say it is enough. They don’t want the truth, they don’t want transparency, they want Romney destroyed.

Obama knows whats on Romneys tax returns,

he must want to use something on there as a campaign issue like if Romney paid not much tax some years,

then Obama can hold a press conference at the White Hut and declare that Romney paid less in tax than some woman in Newark NJ with five kids who just got off welfare and is working at Burger King

You are curious about Zer0’s past, right? No one vetted Zer0. he was in a drug stupor for his last year of H.S. but no one asked how he got into college.

I think Romney should get the same pass as our president did.

I'm all for equal friend but not for privilege.

“I think that’s Romney’s job to be getting Obama to release all of that stuff. He’s the Obama’s opponent.”

That would be a distraction that Obama would love, he wouldn’t have to talk about his failed policies.

But it’s a great rhetorical response to ObamaZombies demanding more info from Romney.

Well then it appears Romney's got himself in a pickle.

I wonder if, through all this, Romney thinks 0bama is still “a nice guy.”

The longer the dems get to tee off on these distractions, the less 0bama is forced to play defense on his own job record.

Exactly. The 0bama academic records are no less required by law than Romney`s tax returns.

That`s exactly what Romney should say.... “put yours out there, and so will I.”

"This is where Romney says, I’ll release them all if the Kenyan releases his ORIGINAL birth certificate and all passports, all of his college transcripts and applications and all of the Social Security Account Numbers that Barry has used over his lifetime. If he won’t release that stuff, the ‘RATS can stuff it."

The governor is right AND you are right.

Romney should release his returns because to do otherwise is a distraction.

Romney should call upon Obama at that time to release his transcripts, registrations, etc.

Perhaps he should go back 5 years or so and say he’ll release more when Obama releases more.

"Romney needs to step down and let another candidate take over."

I agree, but it ain't gona happen. We are down to two choices:
1. The Lying cheating corupt to the core ZERO.
Door number two: Romney
My tag line says how I will vote. Just FYI I have had this tag line long before the other Republicans dropped out. . . .

Maybe, just maybe Romney is slicker than we give him credit for.
Maybe he didn't release his tax returns on purpose, knowing that ZERO would demand that he release them.
Then he says I will release my tax returns once you release: "All the stuff we want released". ZERO won't release anything, but now Romney has the upper hand. Romney then releases the tax returns and then has a good ad of Romney sitting at a table waiting on ZEROS release. . . . .

Obama has a felony for soliciting in China
The Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) prohibits any foreign national from contributing, donating or spending funds in connection with any federal, state, or local election in the United States, either directly or indirectly. It is also unlawful to help foreign nationals violate that ban or to solicit, receive or accept contributions or donations from them. Persons who knowingly and willfully engage in these activities may be subject to fines and/or imprisonment.

Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley, in an interview with ABC News today, called on presumptive Democrat nominee Barack Hussein Obama to release his medical records, his passport application, his College Transcript from Occidental, Columbia and Harvard, his SAT and LSAT scores, his long form BC, his draft registration forms, his Social Security number and records, his application for financial assistance while in College, his..... in order to show he has nothing to hide.”

Oh wait, this PC, POS, RINO, who has "foot-in-mouth disease" didn't did he?
