Palin: Condi Rice "Would Be A Wonderful Vice President"
Real Clear Politics ^

"I think that Condoleezza Rice would be a wonderful vice president and she certainly has much more experience than our sitting president," former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) said when asked for her reaction to news that Rice is near the top of Romney's list for VP.
Palin is asked by host of "On the Record" Greta van Susteren what she thought about Rice being "moderately pro-choice."
Palin tells host of "On the Record" Greta van Susteren that she would prefer a pro-life vice presidential candidate, however she says ultimately the power to legislate abortion does not lie with the vice president.

Condi would spend months, MONTHS, explaining away Bush foreign policy.
Not a good choice.

I’m rather excited with the prospect of Condi for veep.
Don’t understand the opposition around here to her. She would get us a win in the general.
After that, the VP is a rather powerless position.

Condi has shown herself to be a RINO and Romney needs someone to balance out his RINOism or conservatives will stay home.

As someone said, it would turn Bush’s foreign policy into one of the big campaign issues.
We need the economy to be the main issue this campaign.

Romney needs to assume the conservatives are in the bag.
The battle for this election will be the middle-of-the-road folks who voted for Obama in 2008.
We must steal votes from Obama, otherwise look for 0 to squeak by with a win.

Not only is Condi pro-abortion RINO, she is not the kind of attack dog VP you need in this election.
The best at this would be of course, Palin. But that has about a snowball’s chance in hell. But if Romney wants to win this, unleashed, Palin would be devastating.

Palin would never run as VP again. She paid her dues.
She’ll either run for Prez or stay out next cycle.
Same with Gov. Christie, imo.

Rush said it well today: the issue is Obama. Nothing else. NOTHING else. If anyone puts anything else between victory or a reelection of Obama, to quote Rush "I don't know you."
Sarah Palin is clearly smart enough to see that, and apparently smarter than some Freepers. Condi would NEVER be my first, second, or third choice, but Daffy Duck, Scarface, or Walter White would be preferable to Joe Biden and that insufferable oaf of a president we have now.

Agreed! Just being polite. A case can be made that almost anybody COULD be a good VP.Yes, being polite. When you listen to the interview Sarah was following Reagan's Eleventh Commandment:
Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.
She did say in response to a question that she hoped the ticket would have two pro-life persons on it and Condi is pro-choice.

Sarah was 100% correct about "Death Panels" in Obamacare.
Of course, the LameStream Media did their text search on the bill and didn't find "Death Panels."
But they're there. Sarah was right!
Pssst! Hey LSM, try searching for "Independent Payment Advisory Board."

She didn’t say she was voting for Obama.
I have absolutely no problem with her keeping her personal opinions, personal.
If that’s the best yall have on her, you’re gonna have a bad time.

Im rather excited with the prospect of Condi for veep. Only if the GOP is determined to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Pro-lifers WILL sit it out if a pro-choicer (the choice being child murder) is on the ticket.

I have already applied for the popcorn concession for this FR thread, Actually, I'm looking at it like it is going to be the primary redux except for it is for VP this time around.
No matter who Romney picks there will be a contingent here to post endless articles about why that person is such a bad choice.
When it's all said and done, we'll once again demonstrate why "steeping on you own dick" should be our official motto.
At leas we'll have four more years to complain about the destruction of our country under the second obama term
That is is FR is allowed to exist under a second obama term.
For the record, Romney is in no way my pick, but he's what we were dealt.

No matter who you mention, someone in this forum will call them a RINO. There’s a huge Soros-financed campaign out there to demoralize conservatives and keep them home. Just look at all the little fish who bit at this fake Condi story.

There is no reason at this point to be so polite and gracious; it just makes the voters more angry.
